Sorry, I was only able to post a subject line, never got a text box.

Anyway, I checked the profile of the member who took forever to give me a credit. She's been a member since 2007. Under Books Mailed it says P. Under Books Received it says P yet she did get the book I sent (she finally gave me a credit) So what does the P mean? Also, she only shows 4 books available to send. I thought you had to submit at least 10 and since it doesn't show her as sending books I just wondered.

Thanks.

Hi Elizabeth. P. stands for "Private" in those instances, meaning the member has set her privacy settings to hide the number of books sent and received. As far as the books available, the 10 book amount is required to qualify for the 2 start-up credits. There is no requirement that members post books in order to participate, they simply need to acquire their credits elsewhere (i.e. purchasing them from the Kiosk or other members in the Book Bazaar).

P means "private", so the person didn't want their numbers to be publicly shown, or perhaps that's the default, I can't remember for sure.

There's also no rule saying you HAVE to post ten books. That's only to get the promo credits. And, since you know she has obviously received books, it's likely safe to assume she has sent books as well, or at least it's impossible for you to know for sure.

Thanks for the replies. I had wondered if it meant private.

Also, it's worth mentioning that Private is the default setting.  So you have to go in and change it before it will show anything.
