After you finish a good book...Do you pick up the next one? Wait a couple of days? Or something else......

I find it hard to just pich up another one unless it is a series.

I jump right into another book after I finish one. Most of the time I change authors, genres, or try a totally different type of book than I'm use to reading. Sometimes I find myself reading my son's books!  ; )

I'm with you Erin.  If I really LOVE a book it is hard for me to pick up another one because I tend to compare & be disappointed a little so I usually wait to give the next book a "chance".  I like Jill's idea though of picking up something totally different, that may help me in the comparison dept.

I read several different genres. By the time I am on the last 100 pages of the book I am reading, I already have the next one chosen. I usually finish one and go right on  to the next book.

I too go straight to another book. I read a couple at a time anyway so I'm always covered.

I usually have the next one ready, so when I finish my current one I can jump right in to the next one. That being said, oftentimes I change my mind, depending on the mood I'm in or what I'm going through. For example, I spent last week in the hospital so I grabbed up some Love Inspired books (love visiting the matchmaking folks in Mule Hollow!). Nice easy reading while I'm stuck in the bed. But even then I kept thinking about a Roxanne Henke series I have here waiting... I've only kept it on my keeper shelf because I'm waiting on the last one to come in.
