Last night I finished The Desires of Her Heart by Lyn Cote.  Enjoyed it.  A good historical western.

I dnf Conviction, it was just not my kind of book. The guy liked to share the woman, he was not possessive of her body but he was possessive of her heart. Whatever.

I'm going to read some of the Rock Chick stories again and I may start the This Man trilogy.

I read Losing Me, Finding You by CM Stunich. Loved it.

I also finished a couple short stories, Yes, Sir by Ellis Carrington and Elizabeth's Bondage by Nikki Sex.

I'll have to c heck that one out Nancy - I like Cherise Sinclair's but there's a LOT of dungeon stuff and other stuff I'm not too comfy with - so have to space them out and some I've had to skip around in so hes really aren't ideal for me. this sounds more like my speed!

reading a library ebook - Wolf With Benefits by Shelly Laurenston - lotsa violence and humor...suits me! also some more library ebooks - finding out about the philadelphia and brooklyn libraries unleashed a monster! having to be careful I don't download too many - not sure how the library loans work - I return early yet the system still shows a waitlist so I'm thinking they dont' become ready right away so dont' want to get more than I think I'll read in a week. and found out my 'dinky' library system out of the 3 I"m local for actually has some ebooks the other 4 don't carry (even the 2 biggies)! nice!

eta: yeah finally got overdrive to update and managed to get Single White Vampire by Lynsay Sands to download and transfer to my old mp3 player..sheesh took an act of God to get this done - laptap never would cooperate with updating the media thingamajig. I read this book several years ago and like the series - wanted to see what the audio was like.. so far so good but only about 10 minutes into it LOL! been listening to a couple of Boxcar children stories - first one was so -so but the last I didn't like so much...they werent' the original stories but later add-ons..wanted some vampire humor!

finished Wolf with Benefits- cute one - not as much violence I don't think - well there was some but not as graphic as she sometimes gets. this one focused on a family of jackals - all extremely gifted except the oldest girl Toni - she goes out on her own (or sorta does) and has Ricky Lee. parts were really cute.

started Meg Cabot's Size 12 and Ready to Rock...not too far into it yet.

Reading The Redemption of Micah by Beth Williamson and for some unknown reason I thought it was a m/m but it's not lol. Still good so far, but the heroine's been in a coma for three years (back in the old west) and has no side effects but weakness, um really?

Also reading Bred by Jenna McCormick, not as good as the first one (and they are very short) but I'm getting my cyborg fix lol.

DNF for Tessa Adams Dark Embers.  Pages and pages and PAGES of inner dialog and self reflection, then I find out from a GR friend there's a rape scene at the end.  Don't bother with this one.

Read She's Got Dibs, cute but kind of irritating at the end. Now starting Sandra Schwab's latest, Betrayal.

Finished Cover of Darkness by Kaylea Cross last night.  I really really wanted to love it but if the hero hadn't been so awesome it would have been a DNF for me.  2 stars.

Hi everybody,

Of course been reading, but not posting...bad me. Let's see what I have read lately. I have been bad and gorging on Stephanie's Lauren's Bastion Club series and I am on the next to the last book. I have liked all of them for the most, but they had the same feel about them. I also continued Grace Burroughs series, finished The Soldier late last week and then read Sophie's Christmas Wish yeserday, love this series and can't wait to get to the next one. I read Cynthia Eden's Deadly Lies and I love this series I can't believe I had this romantic suspense on my TBR for so long. I hope she continues with the series. I also read her something midnight...will have to get the exact title. I like the series well enough that I am going to get the next two books. it is a urban fantasy. Man I just can't read fast enough.

Betrayal was enjoyable, will be what I recommend next time someone says, "I wish they wrote historical novels like they used to." Now reading a Diana Palmer for relaxation while I ponder my review. What will I do when I run out of Palmer?

I read Frigid by J Lynn and liked it. Its a NA.

I also read a novella called Text Me by KJ Reed and liked it a lot. (Not enough to pay the $4.31 that it is now...I got it free at some point.)

Now I'm reading Wanderlust by Skye Warren. I'm a little over halfway and enjoying it. It's not for everyone though. It's the whole captive and dubious consent thing.

finished Tippy Toe Murder and downloaded the next 2 in that mystery series(thank goodness for the library and overdrive) though had to go through all 5 libraries to find the 3rd in the series finally found it at the bklyn library...pretty decent mystery series - couldnt' believe some of the stuff described - this one had abuse and even mentioend a man sexually abusing his daughter- not in great detail but enough you got more than enough of a picture. surprised this series caught my attention - a mother of 3 then 4 is hardly up my alley!

still reading size 12 and ready to rock by meg cabot- it's ok - some funny scenes making it worthwhile but only about 30% through it. also have christine feehan's 3rd carpathians book downloaded from the library and on hold for the 4th -sorta got out of the mood for that series but will probably get back to it after this book.

still listening to Single White Vampire by Lynsay Sands - funny! makes me want to keep driving...

Reading Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV.  WOW those people really get worked up about stuff and "winning" every quarter hour.  Interesting stuff.

Next is A Fortunate Life by Robert Vaughn.

I guess I'm taking a break from romances, but do have lots in my TBR pile.

I'm reading Rock Chick Regret... the last one before Ally & Ren's story.

I also have a whole slew of books to read for a review, but I haven't had time to read in so long, I wanted to pick up something I knew I'd love!  Hector... sigh.

Man, I loved that book Michelle. I heart Hector.

I've been reading Rock Chick Renegade and The Billionaire's Obsession. I have to say, Kristin Ashley's books are the first ones I've ever re read completely through. I'm about to re read Luke and Ava's story for the third time. I just love Luke and his sexy 'stache.

Rebecca Luke's my fave! I think Sadie is my fave heroine.

finished Size 12 and Ready to Rock by Meg Cabot- nice read. about to start the last section on Single White Vampire by Lynsay Sands - audio download from library. love this one narrated!

started Dark Gold by Christine Feehan - book 3 in the Carpathians...sigh..dunno why I keep on with this nutty series but something has me sorta hooked I think. could'be swore it took 3 exchanges of blood to 'turn' and be bonded after chanting that lifemate crappola...this evil vampire exchanged with her 2x and the hero 2x and I'm still not sure if she's bonded to him or not - acts like they're nto complete since they haven''t boinkedy et but she's in his mind and vice versa...I think I prefer Lynsay Sands' lifemates not being able to control each other's thoughts to feehan's...with hers they may as well go kidnap a woman and plant the idea she loves them unconditionally and put in all their fave sex kinks while they're at it and have a made to order lifemate...but I wantedt o read Gregori's and I think it's 4th and wantedt o go in order in case im iss something but darned if I didn't already miss the turning rule change from 3 to whatever....

eta: about 3/4 done with Dark Gold - sheesh I HATE how she has the carpathian men so close to turning bad :-(

eta: finished and started My Dearest Enemy by Connie Brockway -seems someone here liked it a lot a few years ago...also found out Dark Magic (gregori's story) was available for download - said I'd been emailed but I sure didnt' get it so good think I checked! maybe I'll have my fill after this one - she puts these people to the point of agony and heroines bounce around so danged much...

I love Hector.  LOVE.

I'm reading Inside by Brenda Novak.  First paperback I've read in ages.   I usually read ebooks now.

I finished Wanderlust and liked it, but for some reason I just wanted more. And I don't even know of what. More info on both of their pasts maybe? And I would have loved an epilogue.  I dunno. I liked it though.

I read Hot Secrets by Lisa Renee Jones and am now reading Dangerous Secrets.
