New month... (I guess everyone is busy reading the new BDB book. I'll have to get back to that series at some point.)

I read Play by Kylie Scott, really liked it. Look forward to the next in the series, Lead.

Now I'm reading Beautifully Damaged by L.A. Fiore, my prime borrowed book of the month. Not sure I'm going to like this as much. Hard to read a book that you're not feeling the characters after you read one that you love the characters right from the start (Play).

I am reading the new BDB! LOL  I only made it about 100 pages in last night though and took a day trip to Indy Children's Museum today with the kiddies. Now I'm pretty beat so I don't know how much I'll read before I pass out tonight. LOL

I was looking at The King at Target yesterday, trying to decide whether or not to buy it when a lady swooped in and grabbed the last 3 copies off the shelf.  I was kind of relieved because it made my decision easier.  I've promised DH I won't spend as much on books so we can save more toward this summer's vacation.  Since my TBR is huge, and I have 70+ credits, I can wait a while for it and not be too put out.

I'm on the 2nd book of Stacey Shannon's Kowalski family series.  Exclusively Yours, or something like that.  It's had a few laugh-out-loud moments, so I'm enjoying it.  Nothing too deep or heavy while the hubby's away.

BDB?  Not familiar with what that is at all.

I'm reading thru a older Brynn Paulin series I picked up during the big Kobo coupon weekend.

New month... (I guess everyone is busy reading the new BDB book. I'll have to get back to that series at some point.)

I'm in the same boat. I read Raw by Bella Aurora. I loved it. It really reminded me of Kristin Ashley's Knight, but no "daddy" talk, and this guy kinda made Knight look like a softie. hahaha But seriously, not a typical hero in any way. Still, I found myself rooting for them to figure it out.

Also, gotta say I read Beautifully Damaged and didn't care for it. Good idea, but the writing just wasn't that great.

I recently started the Mercy Thompson series and I'm reading Blood Bound right now.

Oh Tonya, I would love to be reading the Mercy Thompson series for the first time again.  They're on my keeper shelf and get re-read at least once a year.  Those and the Alpha & Omega series (also Patricia Briggs).

I agree on the reading the MT for the first time, adore anything that PB puts out, but love Mercy's world. I can't wait to get my copy of The King...will be here tomorrow. I am having to hold myself back from tracking down the UPS man for my order. I have BN and Amazon both making deliveries tomorrow. I will have it read by Saturday morning. I am trying to stay out of reviews on it for now. Currently reading Stephanie Laurens On A Wild Night, just filler until all the new books arrive.

I'm taking my time with The King, as I always do with a new JR Ward. I savor it as much as I can. blush  I'm hoping to stretch it out through the weekend. That way it'll last me until Jamie's reading challenge starts. LOL

I finished Beautifully Damaged. It was ok, could have been much better.

Now I'm reading Emma Chase's Twisted.

I'm reading Heart of Iron by Bec McMaster. While I Loved the first book in the series, I definitely don't Love this one. It's all right. Just not as good.

Finished....it got pretty good about the last 1/3. Now reading Heart Duel by Robin Owens.

Also reading Silo 49: Deep Dark  by Ann Christy, set in Hugh Howey's WOOL world, and excellent!

Started listening to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix today, and I think I like it best in the series so far!

Finished Twisted which was really good. Not quite as good as Tangled, the H being a jerk wasn't as adorable as it was in Twisted, but I still really liked the book.

Now I'm reading a borrowed library book, a young, YA, Dairy Queen. I started with the Audio version, just to try it, but had to return that and get the ebook. I guess I'm not such a good listener because my mind kept drifting to other things, and I was interrupted a number of times, which is really inconvenient with an audio book.

I read (mostly skimmed) Savage Heat by Mandy Monroe. Insta-sex/insta-love, very little plot, cardboard villain thrown in for no real reason. I have it 2.5 stars but that is a little generous. Hard to believe this is the same person who writes as Kaitlyn O'Connor.

I read the latest Brynn Paulin Daly Way book, Roped By the Team.  Don't re-read the novella first because there's a glaring plot error between the novella that preceeds this book and the book itself.  It's obvious the author didn't re-read it before writing the story!

Still working thru Turn and Burn by Lorelei James.  Been neglecting my print stuff in favor of ebooks lately but I need to get some more reading done for the EVB although I do have a nice stash of already read stuff for this round.

Read and returned a Harlequin Presents from my library's e-lending tonight because sometimes you've just gotta read a Presents.

I have The King but we're visiting family for a week during spring break and there's too much going on for me to really concentrate on it. I'm rereading Rock Chick Renegade right now and I've been working my way through the whole series for at least the fourth time. I needed a comfort read, I've been in a rut. I'm looking forward to The Will coming out tomorrow.

Finished Brenda Novak's Come Home to Me...OMGosh really????? I couldn't believe that Cheyenne would do that to Dylan....it was almost a wallbanger for me. That is an extreme hotbutton issue with me and I couldn't get over that and my grade was 2.5 stars. Also finished The Devil and Ian Eversea and it was a good read, but took me a minute to warm up to the heroine.

I've finally returned to Olivia Cunning's Sinners and am reading Hot Ticket (Sinners on Tour, Bk 3). Jace is such a cutie.

I adore the Sinners on Tour series!  They're all cuties.

I've got Sinners At the Altar on Nook Gina if you ever want to borrow it.

That's where I left off at with the Sinners series too, Gina. I need to get back to them!

So the horror book I read was a tad disappointing. Ah well. Moving on...

Now reading Try by Ella Frank. Really liking it so far.

I read Pamela Clare's Striking Distance, short but still good. I started The Off Season, second in the Dairy Queen series, which was good but needed a break from that series so switched to Bully by Penelope Douglas.

Thanks, Sarah, but I've already got it for Kindle. ;) That's one of the reasons why I wanted to get back to the series, so I could have more Brian and Myrna.
