I have abandoned YA for cozy mysteries in the hope that I will get sick of them soon and then be into YA again.

I listened to Seth Baumgartner's Love Manifesto over the weekend in the car.  I ended up liking it, though I think I would have liked some of the characters better without the voices the reader used for them.  But Seth was pretty funny and the story was cute - a bit predictable with some unpredictableness thrown in. :)

Next up is either Exposed or Lies.  I need to read both for swaps.

Not YA, but I'm reading Carolyn Jessop's Triumph.  It's about the Texas raid on the FLDS ranch in 2008 (what happened and where the state went wrong), and I guess the second part is about her life after FLDS.  I'm mentioning it since we talked about polygamy last month. :)

I recently finished Shade and I loved it, can't wait for Shift to come out. Also read Vintage Veronica, The Alpha Bet and The Life of Glass. I'm starting Forget You next.

Speaking of polygamy, my mom read Escape and she really enjoyed it too.

I have that on my WL Britney!!!  I am surprised I haven't just broken down and ordered it from Amazon, but I am trying to have some level of restraint with book ordering these days!!!

I am currently reading Accomplice....  really liking it so far!

I finished Forget You, but at times things were tangled?? Does that make sense? I was having trouble keeping people and what had happened straight. Maybe I'm dense :)

Sorry I can't help you out Jacqueline, but it was a library book (that I need to remember to return today since I'm going to be out of town all next week!).

I just finished Insatiable by Meg Cabot. It was just ok. Did anyone else feel that way too or was it just me?

I have it, but haven't read it yet, Cindy... but seems I heard someone else say it was just ok....  that's why I haven't read it yet....  I always have high expectations for Meg Cabot's adult fiction....

I just finished The Maze Runner, I loved it.  I couldn't put it down when I got to the last few chapters.  I just found out that James Dashner is coming out with the 2nd book called The Scorch Trials in Oct.  I'm putting it on my WL right now.

Shannon, just last week I finished the Reckoning the 3rd in the Darkest Powers trilogy and I thought all three were good.  I didn't enjoy them as much as, The Hunger games or The Maze Runner, but they kept my interest.  Maybe a little too much teen angst for me. lol.

I started Ruined. I hope it gets better. What the heck is with me lately? For every good book I read, I end up reading 5 others that just plain suck. lol

Finished Ruined. Boring. Boring. Boring.

I read You last night. I couldn't stand the style of writing. I am now reading Remember Me by Christopher Pike. So far, it's just OK. ARGH!

HA, I've been reading books that aren't as "good" as I normally like too. I'm reading Suite Scarlett and Rampant. Rampant, is, ARG. I'm about 150 pages in and I don't like it very much. Its gotten really good reviews though. LOL

I've been reading Gone all week.  Well, pretending to read it, really.  I'd pick it up, read 10-20 pages and put it back down.  I just haven't been in a reading mood for some reason.  I finally picked it up today and really got into it and it's really good!
