Just finished Karen Rose's Watch Your Back and Stevie continued to irritate me with her pushing Clay away, but finally when he had enough, she gets a clue and wises up. It was a little too long and the bad guy got waaay too much page time, but it wrapped up the story arc nicely. I think Novak's book is next....have we met his HEA? I also read Shana Galen's Sapphires are a Earl's Best Friend and it didn't feel wrapped up to me or over. So I hope we get a novella with the 3 jewels and their lovely mens...that would have been a nice epi. I got Carr's The Chance and Susan Donovan's Sea of Love lined up next. Going to need something to balance all this sweet when I get these two read. Delilah Marvelle is going to let me review an advanced copy of Night of Pleasure...so I can't wait for that.

Still working on the Masters At Arms series.  Can't put it down, I'm now most of the way thru book #3.  I think I'll be sad when I'm done with #5 and I have to wait for #6.

I finished Surviving Raine by Shay Savage and it was excellent. Freakin' loved it.

Now almost done with About Last Night by Ruthie Knox. I'm enjoying this one a lot. Nev is swoon worthy.

I'm still reading As Hard as You Can by Laura Kaye. It didn't used to take me so long to read a book, wonder what happened?

Oh, Nev is soooo swoony! I don't think I've liked any Knox as much as that one, except Big Boy.

I don't know what to read next! I have a ton of books, maybe I'll just pick the first thing on calibre. Or use the random book function.

I haven't posted in here in ages. I finally read Kristen Ashley's Motorcycle Man. I liked it. I don't know if I loved it as much as some. But the last line of the book was a sucker punch and that's what made me totally fall in love with Tack. I really can't wait for Will to come out. It sounds awesome! Next up is Inky by JB Harnett.

I haven't posted here in awhile either- I've been around lurking here and there, just busy.  I went on a long Kristen Ashley bender for awhile there, read the whole (so far) Chaos series and the Colorado Mountain series up through Jagged, then decided I need a break.  I've read a few books in series, the latest Victoria Dahl Jackson series book (meh), Shalvis' latest Animal Magnetism book (ok, but the characters in this series are starting to blend with the Lucky Harbor characters in my mind), and I tried to read SEP's Call Me Irresistible, but only made it through 4 chapters before giving up on it.  There was not a single likeable character, least of all the heroine.  So, not having a lot of great luck with romances lately.  I've read a few non-romance books that were better- The Shadowy Horses by Susanna Kearsley, although I did not like it as much as the other books of hers that I've read, The First Day of the Rest of my Life by Cathy Lamb (really liked it, though it was sooo sad/disturbing at times), and am now reading another of her books, If You Could See What I See.

Guess I should quit lurking. I have Motorcycle Man and wondered if that series needed to be read in order. I don't mind skipping around a series but if there is anything continuing I don't like it,

Jenny, in my opinion, the Dream Man series should be read in order. It's Mystery Man, Wild Man, Law Man and then Motorcycle Man.

I'm working my way thru Nobody's Perfect by Kallypso Masters.  It's a huge book, over 1100 pages, but it was the first one of this series I ran across and the book description made me want to read it but I had to go back to start with the others.  I'm thinking I won't want it to end either.

I finished the Songs of Submission series, really good. Then I read Otherwise Occupied and now am reading Transcendence, both by Shay Savage. I really like her writing. Next will probably be Surviving Raine.

Good to hear you through Interview with a Master was great. I was planning on borrowing that through Amazon Prime's lending library.

I just finished Shades of Gray (KGI, Bk 6) by Maya Banks and loved it. I am way behind on this series, though...need to catch up.

Now I'm reading Joey W. Hill's Afterlife (Knights of the Board Room, Bk 4). This series is hot!

Inky was a total cliffhanger. I was like - wtf???!! Occasionally I don't mind it as long as the story wraps in some sort of way and the writing is really good. This one didn't wrap up AT ALL and the writing was just okay. Ugh. So frustrating. Now I'm reading Painted Faces by LH Cosway. It's really good so far.

And I must comment that I adore Shay Savage! I first read Surviving Raine and then the "Otherwise" series. Loved all of them!

I don't know that I think the Dream Man series really needs to be read in order. They make cameos in the later books, but they're not really integral to the story. There's a little back story of Tack and Gwen from the first book in Motorcycle Man, but I don't think you'd be missing much reading them out of order. Just my opinion, obviously. That being said, I did read them in order though.

I finished Grace Burrowes Jonathan and Amy....loved it also read David: Lord of Honor and loved that one as well. Read Carr's The Chance and it was a good read. Also read Juliana Gray's A Lady Never Lies, a NTM author and I liked it well enough that I am going to pick up the rest of the trilogy. I just got the Latest Sebastian St. Cyr mystery, as well as Shannon K Butcher's Willing Sacrafice and Maire Claremont The Dark Affair....I can't wait to dive in!!!

Tonya, Painted Faces was the best book I've read in a long time. So different. :)

I had so little time to read this week. Busy at work and DH decided to do some inside painting we've been talking about for a while. I only finished  one book this week but it was a good one - Transcendence, loved it.

Next might be Sharp Objects borrowed from the library but I'm not sure I'm going to have time to read it before the loan expires.

I'm working on Somebody's Angel by Kallypso Masters.  Just had little time to read this week and soooooo tired.  Hoping to spend some quiet time this weekend getting stuff caught up and get in some reading time.

It all comes in waves, doesn't it? I got approved for 10 at NetGalley as 3 library books came in, and then I binge watched Vikings Season 1 instead.

The Backup Boyfriend by River Jaymes was great.  It had one of the sexiest m/m scenes I've read. And I've read a lot of m/m. And the kicker? They didn't even have sex in the scene. *happy sigh*  The whole book was pretty fantastic. It was an ebook loaner but I may very well end up buying it.  I will for sure be following the author from now on.

Now reading Break in Two by MJ Summers. All I can say is, wow. I have no idea where all the amazing reviews came from. This is like the never ending book.  I'm sooooo not feelin' it.
