Still reading Hidden Agendas by Lora Leigh.  I also started reading Double the Pleasure a blaze by Julie Elizabeth Leto.  It's really good!  I'm going to put Double the Thrill  by Susan Kearney on my list (which is the other book in the series - it's about twin men who switch places)

Started reading Red Hot Santa an anthology by Cherry Adair, LeAnne Banks, Pamela Britton & Kelsey Roberts. Read the first 2 stories then put it away to move on to something else. The stories were just ok and they had little to do with Christmas.

Now I'm reading High Country Bride by Linda Lael Miller. It's book 1 in her McKettrick series. I'm only about 1/3 of the way thru but it's good so far.

Still reading the Silhouette Nocturne, The Beast Within.  It's good, but these other, more heavily wishlisted books keep arriving, so I'm trying to get *those* out first.  I'm doing it all for the PBS community, you see.  ;)

Also reading Cormac McCarthy's The Road, which is a story of a father and son in a post-apocalypic world.  I keep waiting for the big mystery of "What in the world happened?!" to be revealed.  Good, simple reading, should be able to repost that by Tuesday.

Lover Unbound showed up yesterday, so I guess that's next!

I just finished off Christmas Proposals: Her Christmas Romeo\The Tycoon's Christmas Engagement\A Bride For Christmas, a Christmas 3-in-1 by Carole Mortimer, Rebecca Winters, Marion Lennox

It was good!  Some nice sappy Christmassy-themed romances.

I have no idea what I'll pull off the TBR pile next.

I picked up Night Fever by Susan Kyle (aka Diana Palmer) to start next.  It's an older longer length Palmer novel, pretty good so far.

Sherri, I remember liking Bad Boys in Kilts :)

Melissa, please let us know what you think of Wild, Wild West!

Haven't done much reading today--been back and forth to the airport a couple times dropping off my hubby and picking up an aunt :)

no reading for me this weekend but night shift starts tomorrow so I'll probably do some reading if it's slow like it's been lately. have 'the defender' the last in that blaze series, the 3rd book in the whitehorse montana series by b j daniels for in trigue, and the 3rd nancy bartholomew mystery..along with some other stuff but wanna get those out of the way.

Tonya, I got bogged down on the 5th book..crazy love. I want to finish these but my favorite characters already hooked up! Dylan and Skeeter aren't my faves and that model either but I plan on plowing through..hopefully...

I read Cruise Control several months ago and liked it. Reckless Angel was good but quite a bit of violence but guess that was common for when it was written. the story was pretty good overall though.

Read Trilby by Diana Palmer and Cougar's Woman by Rohnda Thompson.  Both were historical Westerns. I really liked both of them.  Reading  Bride for Sale by ????.  I forgot to write it down and it is not on my TBR. Hard telling why.  I am almost done with it and I really like it. Take place in Seatle during the gold rush. 47 woman came on a ship and were mail order brides.  So far so good!   I will finish it up this evening and let you know who it is by.  I am on a western kick righ now. :)

Another book lover in t my office just brought me a trilogy they are Sillouette NOCTURNE.  It is the Raintree Series. The first book is by Linda Howard.  They REALLY sound good so that is what I will be reading this week.  Inferno, Haunted and Sanctuary. Have any of you read them?

Have a great day and Happy Reading! Lori

Lori be sure and tell us who wrote Bride for Sale - sounds interesting!

I just finished at lunch Bad Boys in Kilts and loved it.  I liked that there wasn't any "break up" part of the stories, but they just got together and stayed together.  And those Scottish accents - Lord help me! LOL

Sherri, glad you liked the kilts :)  That was a fun one!

Lori, I haven't read the Raintree titles, but I thought I remembered that a bunch of people  here had not too long ago and liked them a lot.  Maybe if you do a search on "Raintree" or "nocturne" you'll find the thread...

Yes, I've read the Raintree trilogy.  Or maybe devoured them would be a better description!!!!!!!  They are really really great, definitely keepers.  They all move along pretty fast, you can hardly put the book down until you finish it.

I picked up a Raintree book at Value Village last night.  I forget which one though.

Decided to read Unshaken by Francine Rivers since I seemed to be in a bit of a slump.  Its still technically a romance, although of a different sort!  ;-)

I finished Wild Wild West and it was OK. It was 3 short stories that would have been better if they'd been longer. My next read will be The Pretender by Celeste Bradley.

Finished High Country Bride by Linda Lael Miller and also read Shotgun Bride and Secondhand Bride also by LLM.  All 3 are part of her McKettrick series. They were good. Now I'm taking a break from stubborn cowboys and am working on the last 2 books of Cindy Gerard's Bodyguard series.  I'm about 1/3 of the way thru Under the Wire.

The first McKettrick series were some of the first romance books I read. They were good. Holt, the half brother got his own story and I've never gotten around to reading that one.  I can't remember the title.  I just picked up one of the contemporaries about their decendants.

Just finished 'the defender' a blaze title by cara summers. It finished that series but the sister has a story due out in 2008 I think it said. Now I'm reading 'the mystery man of whitehorse' a harlequin intrigue by bj daniels that's part of a series. This is the 3rd and the 4th comes out next month then it's a wait for the last 2. Pretty good series so far but she keeps killing people off1

Morning everyone!  Susanna, I know about the sisters book, I can not wait because it should have Roman in it as well.

I finished up Brides For Sale it is by Ana Seymour.  I really enjoyed it, had some very funny parts. I am from Washington State and I loved reading about the ship of Brides in Seattle.  I highly recomend it if you like that era.

Oh my .............. I started the Raintree Series.   whoooooooo   I LOVE it. Iread the first one and than had to pick up[ the second one right away!  I really like the whole clan part and that he is the Danar of the Clan.  It is not a witch book, more like the type of majic that Karen Marie Morning rights about but in the modern day.  He has control over fire and boy can he light up a room.  When he gets really turned on all the candles light up.  :)    I can not wait to finish up the second one and move to the third.  You should all read them!!!!!

Mary L,  I have not sure what I am going to do with  about Trilby  yet, if I post it I will on your list. :)
