I am reading Eloisa James's The Duke is Mine and I love EJ, but I am not loving this book so far. I don't have an issue with what is being said about Olivia's fiance. I am sure for that timeframe it was par for the course. It is the wording and some of the writing that I am having issues with.

Gail, I totally stole your signature 2012 info format. :-)

The Scottish Prisoner by Diana Gabaldon. It intersects between the Outlander books (Voyager) and the Lord John books. If you haven't read the series, it won't be as good. My dear Jamie seems uncharacteristically furious and temperamental. Still good, though!

Happy birthday, Willa! On this special day we are allowed to do what we want, eat what we want, and read what we want.

Cool! but you're more conservative than I am, Keri  - I don't know how many lines I can have before something starts dropping off the end of the earth. I may drop the 2011 Books Read line in a few months, will see how it goes as time goes by.

Well, I don't want to tie myself down too much or I start feeling like it becomes a chore and I didn't want to do that to myself.

Since this is a day we can eat what we want,  I think I will go have some more good luck black-eyed peas!  My 9 year old son helped me put them together this morning and they taste so good!

I decided to ring in the new year by continuing to re-read Anne McCaffrey's Pern series in chronological order. I am now on Masterharper of Pern.

Also stil reading 5 or 6 other books a bit at a time.

For my Amazon lending library book this month I picked In Her Sights by Robin Perini.

I've been reading ebooks today.  Been buying a few lately with all the sales but haven't had a chance to read many of them.  Especially the ones longer than 30 pages.

I started the Virgin River series and am on the third book, as soon as it gets here.  I just finished the second, Shelter Mountain.  My kinda series.  Just enough going on that keeps me interested.

I'm reading "The Famous Heroine" by Mary Balogh.  Almost done, then I'll be reading "The Plumed Bonnet."

Happy New Year everyone!  I've been off work for 2 weeks and have done little to no reading ...just been too busy.  I go back to work tomorrow though, so back to the regular routine. :(  I left off about halfway through Head Over Heels by Shalvis so will pick that back up as soon as I get some reading time.  I've had a bunch of WL books come in while I"ve had no time to read, so have some catching up to do!

Happy belated birthday, Willa!

I finished Savage Nature by Christine Feehan.  I liked it, but it almost seemed like Drake & Saria's romance was secondary to the main storyline.

Now I'm reading  Lead Me On by Victoria Dahl.

Finished SHADOW MAN/Cody McFadyen. Definitely need something lighter right now!

I think I'll start the second in Andrea Penrose's "Lady Arianna" series. Regency-set mystery but the first one was very fast reading and interesting, plus it's a library book so need to read on a timely basis.

Michelle, I enjoy that series, but I found that book a bit dissppointing. I am currently reading Shannon K Butcher's Razor's Edge.

I read parts of Beyond Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches' Guide to Romance Novels Some of it was funny, some informative, some didn't interest me at all.

Now reading the last story in Three Sinful Wishes: Sinful Desires / Sinful Sensations / Sinful Pleasures :: R. G. Alexander Very good!
