Just finished Kele Moon's Defying the Odds, and I really enjoyed it. It was a really sweet love story. With lots of sexy time! Some sweet and some pretty hot.

Now I'm reading Chloe Neill's Hard Bitten (fourth in the series) and I'm apprehensive because of some of the reviews that I've read. I'm not quite sure what to expect. I'm halfway through and none of the big surprises that were alluded to yet.

I ended up putting off the 4th Demonica book and reading Creed by Kristin Ashley. I liked Knight (the previous one in this series) and after this book, I love him! It wasn't my favorite KA but like all hers, it was still great. Has anyone read the 'burg series? Are they more mystery than romance?

Now I'm going back to Ecstacy Unveiled.

Doing pretty well with You Belong to Me by Karen Rose, though I'm concentrating more on other things today. Just not so much in a reading mood, I guess. Well, my husband and I just had a short holiday spent mostly reading. (Mostly. devil)

Rebecca, I am on the 4th book of KA's Burg series (Games of the Heart).  They are NOT really mysteries.  You always know who the bad guy is and so do all the characters.  I will say, I do like them, though.  The guys aren't big jerks as much as some KA Heroes (except maybe Cal).  A couple of them are reunited high school sweetheart stories.

rebecca, so Knight is in Creed? I saw him in the list of characters..the only thing that bugged me in his book I think was the 'daddy' business since the heroine was fine with his control stuff. I'm still reading the Gamble and figures I get to work and within a few pages it's sex time! sheesh! why couldn't I have hit that part before sleeping this morning?!

now gonna have to order Creed...

I liked Creed and Knight is in it. I almost liked him better in this book than in his own. I went back and re-read his book before reading Creed because it had been awhile and I actually liked it better the second time. The daddy business didn't bother me because I looked at it more like he was her sugar daddy, lol.

Read Molly Harper's My Bluegrass Baby and A Lady Most Willing by EJ, CB and JQ. The were both good reads, just didn't blow me away. Not sure what I am going to read next....but with over 500 to choose from...shouldn't be an issue.

thanks Rebecca- the sugar daddy reference actually makes it all better for me! whew! I just kept thinking 'daddy' since that's what I called my dad but sugar daddy makes sense and I can handle that LOL! off to order Creed I guess...

Wow - I finished up Hard Bitten, and I was absolutely blown away. Just wow. I love Ethan.

Then I read The Opportunist by Tarryn Fisher and another WOW! Loved and hated that one! Crazy!

Now I'm reading Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles. YA or New Adult - very good so far.

I am in the worst slump ever. Everything I try, I wind up hating. Need a serious change of genre, or something.

I finished Perfect Chemistry and I absolutely loved it. Absolutely.

I'm reading The Departed by Shiloh Walker right now. I'm about 10 pages in and Taylor is intense already. I think it's gonna be a good one!

Melissa, I just added the Sorenson book to my wl on amazon. I wasn't sure though. I went back and forth on that one.  Can't wait to hear how you like it.

Finishing up The Darkest of Secrets by Kate Hewitt. Very good, a well-written and original HP! They seem to be coming back!

Reading How to Drive a Dragon Crazy by GA Aiken.  I think I'm done with this series after this.  It's been a fun ride but honestly - so many characters in this one it's just hard to keep up.

Ooooh, thats a great one Rebecca.

Well i finished The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden. Talk about one huge WTF ending. I was pretty pissed. Its not til after I was done that I found out that there is going to be a sequal. And thats only from reading reviews. If I hadnt read them then I guess I would have just been left hanging. That really irritates me. I loved the story and loved the characters, so I guess thats something.

Now on to Taking Chances by Molly McAdams.

I finished The Departed. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't as hot as I was hoping. After the YAs I was hoping for something really hot!

Now I'm reading Tiffany Reisz's Seven Day Loan. It's a novella, but should do the trick.

eta: Finished Seven Day Loan. Definitely hot. 43 pages of definitely hot! I've got The Siren, which I haven't read yet. A little more incentive to get around to it I guess.

Now I'm reading Down To You by Melissa Leighton. I just noticed there's a book two (released this month), but it's only in paperback right now.
