Jo Goodman's Marry Me was an absolute fabulous lump in your throat because it was just so good book! It compares to Annie's Song to me. It was just that good. I hope she writes about Reidsville again. Willa I loved The Last Renegade!

Finished my reread of Outlander and started on Dragonfly.  Guess I'm not much in the mood to try anything on the TBR right now.

Finished rereading An Echo in the Bone.  I think it was even better this time around.    No idea what's next.

just finished a Love Inspired by Brenda Minton and started another in a mini series I've been trying to keep up with.

Finished Pamela Clare's First Strike and really liked this sexy pre-qual to Striking Distance! I started Ins't this Bro-mantic? the sequal to Bro-magnet, not to far into it, but Johnny is still just as funny with his inner crazy dialog.

I read the infuriating Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens over the weekend. I was very conflicted about the book's subject matter, but regardless, couldn't put it down. I also read and loved Cherise Sinclair's To Command and Collar (Masters of the Shadowlands, #6). Probably my favorite in this series so far.

Now I'm reading Burn for You by Annabel Joseph, trying to finish up the Molly's Lips series.

dunno about this other Love Inspired- think it's a new author- writes ok but the theme ...sigh...TOTAL kids and they're brats at least the boy is a brat. no discipline and endless descriptions of how perfect the heroine is with kids - hero stands helpless while his 3 yr odl twins fight and demand and heroine solves the problem by compromising and ohter modern parenting skills (personally I think a good spanking wouldv'e fixed a lot of it but probably why I never had kids..no patience for their crap) every single page has had them with the kids- the kids haven't been gone at all - even when the hero is gone the kids are there and I'm 35% through the book :-( already skimming.  learning some skills with kids if I ever feel so inclined but not much romance at all. will probably keep skimming then go to smething better

Keri, I'll have to try TLR again. Would probably help if I just got the ebook. :-\

Reading Bad Idea by Damon Suede. Really interesting writing style and themes. Not that far into it -- it seems very long!

Willa maybe it just isn't fitting your mood? :-) I finished Isn't in Bro-mantic and it just didn't work for me as well. The ending was slightly strange, because I think we were being set up for a 3rd book. Johnny was just as sweet and funny as he could be. His conversations with his cat Fluffy were too funny! I gave it 3 stars on GRs.

I read the first book in the Brides of the Kindred series by Evangeline Anderson - Claimed, I think it was.  Horrible.  The heroine ruined the book for me.

Bad Idea is really starting to drag for me. I like the couple and the energy, but it's just going on and on with all this other stuff.

I haven't been reading too much lately but I did read Until November by Aurora Rose Reynolds. It was just okay for me. I know a lot of people liked it because it reminded them of Kristin Ashley but I thought it was a pretty pale imitation. I've discovered that the books others rave about I usually just think are meh.

Now I'm reading Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland. I liked the sample that I read, I just hope it stays good.

Finished Abel. I just dunno about this series anymore. That last couple have been kind of blah.

DNF for Cade by Liliana Hart.  I thought he was just unnecessarily crude to the heroine. Not enjoyable for me.

We are finally in our new house and partially unpacked, so tonight I started Fairytale Come Alive by Kristen Ashley and OMG I am loving it.  It is angsty and heartbreaking and I'm not even a quarter of the way in.  Looks like it's going to be a LONG night of reading.

Finished If Forever Comes. So good. The perfect amount of heartbreak and angst. I love AL Jackson. She seems to weave the past and present, like no other.

Renee did your family stay in the area? I wish we could move closer to my work.

Been reading but took a break yesterday. Read Zoe Archer's Winter's Heat and really liked it. I also read some non romance lately. James Rollins's Blood Brother and liked it at well. Can't wait for the next book in either of these series. I also finished Jeff Deaver's The Kill Room and that was pretty twisted. Need to finish up an F. Paul Wilson's  Dark City, that I have started and then I will take up Kresley Cole's Endless Knight. (maybe)

Keri, we moved to Frisco.  It shaves 25 minutes off my hubby's commute, so it's a big win for us.  I think you live in Mesquite, right?  Where do you work?  I have to say, we're thrilled with the schools up here.

I stayed up and finished Fairytale Come Alive.  It was so good.  It's part of her "ghosts" books (Lacybourne Manor, etc) and the first with a (main) ghost from contemporary times.  I cried so many times, I loved it!

reading a kindle freebie or bargain book - not thrilled with it but it's ok so far esp if it was free...won't likely continue with the series though but the main character is into real estate and I happen to be interested in hearing about the houses LOL!

Yes we live in Mesquite, but we both work in Richardson.  Frisco is a very nice place! BTW, I put that KA on my TBR
