I am giving romance a break for a short second and reading  Stephen Hunter's The Day Before Midnight, it isn't a Bobby Lee Swagger book, but Jack is a sweet daddy to his two little girls, so I think I will like him just as well.  For my upcoming romances, I have Suzanne Enoch's England's Perfect Hero, Gaelen Foley's Lord of Fire, Kristan Higgan's Until There Was You and I still have Carr's Bring Me Home for Christmas. I hope I have some good reading ahead of me.

I'm re-reading Eragon, my plan is to go through the series again since the last one just came out.

Yesterday I read The Darkest Hour by Maya Banks and today I'm reading No Place To Run.  Pretty good books, I can hardly put either down.  Only complaint is the print in The Darkest Hour is so freaking small!  Good thing I picked it up on a day I didn't have a headache.  My eyes were seriously crossed by the time I got done with it though.

Thankfully, I have No Place To Run in hardcover (bookclub edition) and the print is ginormous compared to the other one.  I have book #3 on the way (or soon will be).

I'm not sure I'd consider them erotica although I think I've plucked them all from the EVB.  More romantic suspense IMO.

Okay, so I have been on this quest to get as many B.J. Daniels books as I can, simply because I just love her books.  So today I finally posted what I am looking for in the Book Bazzar and much to my delight, several people have come through for me.  (Here's my topic in case you want to look.)  Anyway, so I am looking at everyones bookshelves and I am finding more than just the B.J. Daniels books that I want to read.  Needless to say, I have ordered almost 20 books today (so far!) and I am waiting to hear back from someone to see what kind of deal we can work out on another 12 books.  Yeah, then I go to Kmart, find more 2 B.J. Daniels books that have 2 stories EACH in them that I have to buy.  Yep, my hubby is going to be shaking his head in the next few weeks.  The reason I got a Kindle was to avoid this type of thing.  Oh well.

Currently getting sucked into a Rachel Lee book titled The Rescue Pilot.  Should have it done by tonight.  Rachel Lee is probably going to be the next author I need to get the back list on.  I love her Concord County books!  I will probably wait until after the New Year to look for her books though.

been there done that Diana (though not with BJ Daniels)

currently reading One Grave At a Time by Jeaniene Frost - coworker checked it out and I need to finish so she can return it.

finished Mystical Warrior by Janet Chapman - I enjoyed these last 2 in this series - don't understand the magic stuff but like the characters pretty well..light easy reads for the most part. now to find The Man Must Marry which I got then put aside when I heard some negative stuff about it (wasn't wild about the first in that series myself so that didn't add to the urgency to read it LOL!)

I've done that, too, Diana, with various authors I finally got around to reading and had to have their entire backlist. You are not alone.

I'm currently reading a November Blaze by Crystal Green, ROPED IN. Starting out very good.

I'm reading Changing the Game by Jaci Burton.  I don't like the heroine in this one as much as in the last one, but it's pretty good.  The hero is hottt!

Lesly, I've been wanting to read that one.  The covers on that series alone, HOT!  I did like the first one a lot.

I'm almost done with The Scandals of an Innocent by Nicola Cornick.  I haven't had much reading time this week so it's taken me awhile but I've enjoyed the story so far.  It's about a lady's maid who received an inheritance from her employer when she died, making her an heiress.  Of course all these men want her for her money.  One in particular, who hurt her badly in the past, is the hero.  It's been a good read.

I finished reading Alpha (Shifters, Bk 6) by Rachel Vincent last night, and words cannot express how depressed I am that this was the end of this series. My full review is on Goodreads. My only hope is that Vincent continues on in this series' world with the stories of other characters, because I'm not ready for it all to be done. crying

I'll pick up Blade's Desire (Desire, Oklahoma, Bk 2) by Leah Brooke later, but right now, I'm still reveling and wallowing in Alpha, rereading bits and trying to make my stomach stop hurting.

Finished The Scandals of an Innocent by Nicola Cornick, which ended badly for me.  Felt like a cop out and a little rushed.  Meh.

I've got a couple of books in my work bag but I think I'm going to try a Love Inspired called Princess in Peril by Rachelle McCalla next.  Saw a few good reviews on GR for it.

I finished Angels' Blood by Nalini Singh which I really liked and will continue with the series.  Today I will probably  finish reading Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas, which will make me very sad because I do not want this one to end! This one is a keeper for me - but since I got it for my Kindle as a library book, it means I will have to go and buy it for myself now. I love this one! Probably my favorite one by Kleypas. Next up will be Ashes of Midnight by Lara Adrian.

I'm reading One Grave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost -stayed up and read a while - sure is violent! Il ike the new ghost guy though- TEddy? can't remember hjis name! but he and his dog are funny. eta: Tyler! just finished and enjoyed it. one thing bugging me though is Cat's mother and Ian - I don't want Ian to end up with her! and I'm still waiting for Vlad's story - he didn't show up in this one and neither did the other guy - Mencheres? just Spade, Denise, Cat, Bones and Ian..I hope to see more of Tyler though.

thinking about reading Black Heels & Tractor Wheels now..have it from the library after Sherri mentioned it a few weeks ago - I'm not an avid Pioneer Woman groupie but I've liked her website and story and think I'd like to read the book.

Reading Hot Night by Shannon McKenna - not bad - better than I expected. Also read a book on the Nook --- When Tony met Adam...a short story by Suzanne Brockmann of her Troubleshooters. Jules' wacko ex ends up with one of the Seals - Cute story -- short but sweet.

Is WTMA lendable by any chance, Trish? I would so love to read it.

Finished Willing Victim by Cara McKenna. Badly misnamed book! It really isn't dark at all, just very straightforward erotic story about kinky people falling for each other. Not super strong in the romance department, but I liked it a lot.

Princess in Peril by Rachelle McCalla was a DNF.  One scene that was just over the top put me off of it.  Plus it had a bit of cheesy dialog too.

Now I'm reading The Bride Blunder by Kelly Eileen Hake.

Read The Prize by Beth Williamson and I must say I am a bit disappointed in it.  The first book was pretty good, but this one left me shaking my head.  I'm not sure if I will continue with the Malloy series or not.  I don't know, it just seemed to be a bit, well, boring.

I started a Jill Shalvis library book - I think its' the first in the lucky harbor about 'the mouse' and the motorcycle guy - was waiting for my well woman so only got a little ways in it - figured I'd be at least halfway but they were super duper fast today. if I dont get too into it I may just go to another book - have too many I want to read and a stack or 2 or 3 of library books I want to get to and time's a flying!

DNF In Pursuit of Eliza Cynster. Boring chase story. I learned more about the villains and the geography of Scotland than about the main characters who suddenly had wild sex - a mild-mannered studious gentleman and a quiet miss - what gives?

Finished Blade's Desire (Desire, Oklahoma, Bk 2) and Creation of Desire (Desire, Oklahoma Bk 3), nothing special to note except the characters in Creation were extremely childish. I also read a fantastic little short story by Lissa Matthews called Simple Need — I think it was recommended to me by someone in this thread, perhaps? Whoever you are, thank you!

Now I'm picking up Hot Chances by Joey W. Hill/Rhyannon Byrd.
