Have been on a re-reading kick lately. Reread Lothaire, Archangel's Blade and finished Anne Grace's His Captive Lady, which was really emotional at times. I also finished RL Mathewson's Tall, Dark and Heartless. She left us really hanging with this one and I am really eager to see where she is going with this series.

I finished Tasting Fear by Shannon McKenna, and it was so-so. I don't know if it's because it's been so long since I read a McKenna book that I have somehow built her up in my mind; if it just wasn't her best; or if I've had a taste of what a REAL alpha hero is like with Kristen Ashley and McKenna just own't cut it. I hope it's option 2, because I've always liked her.

I just started Beyond Shame by Kit Rocha.

I finished Blood, Smoke & Mirrors by Robyn Bachar.  Incredible potential that never quite made it.  Disappointing.   Now I'm reading The Irish Warrior by Kris kennedy

The Duke's Perfect Wife by Jennifer Ashley...another good one! It's going to be tough to pick what book to read next.

On a side note, I am going to Vermont for the weekend at the end of the month to a cabin in the woods. Lots of reading time! I am already picking out what books to bring, no thought to anything else yet though lol

I"ve been on a Love Inspired 'kick' lately with a couple of Blaze titles thrown in - now I'm reading a library ebook - Someone to Watch Over Me by Lisa Kleypas - so far it's good  and hope it stays that way.yes I know I'm the onlyone here who hasnt' read these 3 books LOL but they came up at the library on ebook and I have this week to finish - the 2nd one is due first so I want to finish the first then continue if I like this one well enough.

I'm reading a NTM author - Bianca Sommerland.  Whew - talk about sex, sex and more sex!  I am supposed to be reviewing a book, but I have to read the first two in the series first.  In book 1, the heroine is having sex with FIVE guys.  Yeah, I can handle menage sometimes, but this might be a bit much.  lol

So i finished Undeniable. This book was insane! I felt like I was watching an episode of Jerry Springer. Only in my head. Everybody was doin everybody. The men were 100% jacka$$es, and thats putting it nicely. I very much wanted to kick each and every one of them in the teeth.  The F word was used on every single page, a lot of times it was used several times in the same sentence. There was alcohol and drug abuse, cheating, rape, torture, murder. And yet....for some ungodly reason, I could NOT stop reading it. And kinda loved it.  Hmmmm.....wonder what that says about me.

Ok....now im going to pick up where I left off on Born to Darkness.

The Irish Warrior by Kris kennedy was a DNF.     Picked up a couple of non-romances today and I'm reading those.

I finally finished the trad Regency I was reading - GEORGINA'S CAMPAIGN/Barbara Reeves; cute. Also finished the audio of Patterson's TICK TOCK today. That helped at GR with my 2012 challenge, now I'm only 17 books behind schedule instead of 19.

I started the 2nd Wallflower book, IT HAPPENED ONE AUTUMN. Marcus is yum.

Love that one, Gail!

I just finished The Ultimate Betrayal by Michelle Reid. Not really sure how I feel about it. Certainly not your typical Harlequin Presents.

Finished Rescue Me. It was okay. I was definitely expecting better. That was my first Rachel Gibson. Hopefully not her best.

Now I'm reading Rock Chick Revenge (I think) it's the second one. Pretty good. Eddie's seems more mellow than her usual heroes. Still love him though.

And I just found out that my library has ebooks. Yay!!! Some good ones too!

Tonya, that wasn't her best work, so for sure pick up some others of hers. Any Man of Mine was good and several others.

I finished Someone to Watch Over Me by Lisa Kleypas - liked it! Now I'm about 1/4 through Lady Sophia's Lover - I have these in paperback from back when but my eyes have been bothering me even with glasses so I got these on ebook from the library. I miss having an actual book in my hands but boy I do love being able to make the print bigger with ebooks - plus I can carry around so many at once! :-) If I keep liking this one next up is Worth Any Price (think that's book 3 in this series/trilogy). I'm on a waitlist for the first wallflowers - debating skipping and going to the next 3 since for some reason there are 8 or so people waiting on the summer book but none or 1-2 on the others..I'm afraid once I get the first book there wil be the 8 waitign on them in order!

Glad to hear that Kristin Ashley got a big pub to back her up, now that she has got some true editing power behind her I am eager to see what she comes out with. I am eager to get ahold of Tack's kid's stories. From what I understand, they are already in Grand Central's hands.

Yep - Hachette signed her.  Should I go ahead and glom her now or wait and hope they re-release?  I'm such a stickler for grammar.

Susanna, I think you could skip the first Wallflower book and catch up later -- just don't skip the second one, because it leads right into the third.

I'm reading Falling for Chloe by Diane Farr. Have mixed feelings -- there is so much Heyer in it, especially Cotillion, but the stuff that's actually original is good.

I'm reading Falling for Chloe by Diane Farr

I loved FALLING FOR CHLOE but the spin-off book, THE FORTUNE HUNTER, was awesome. With all the culling I've been doing, these two books will stay on my keeper shelf until the very last minute.

Probably won't get much reading done today - though I'm relaxing for a few minutes now, with my coffee and Kleypas - but the down time won't last much longer.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone.

Sherri, I would wait for the re-release...why slog throught a 1000 pages when you don't have to. Although I saw that the first Chaos book, Tabby and Shy's book was up on GR this morning. Being honest here....anything that puts me back near Tack, I am happy with. :-)
