I guess with the holidays we have all been busy beavers, but I did take the time to read the phenomenal Julie Spener-Flemings, Through the Evil Days....loved it!!! Can't wait for Russ to change his first stinky diaper. The wait was worth on this one. Read Maya Bank's Never Seduce a Scot, which I loved and working on getting the next in that series. Had never read one of her historicals. Read Connie Brockway's Promise Me Heaven and didn't know that was an older book and a first book prior to All Through the Night. I loved PMH though and thought it was a wonderful read. Currently reading Thea Harrison's Dragos Takes a Holiday.

I read both Lost, and Found by Nadia Simonenko. Didn't love them.

I also read a friends book, not yet published. It was pretty decent.

Now reading Sparks' newest, The Longest Ride. Only about a third into it, but liking it so far.

I read Megan Hart's The Favor, (general fiction, not a romance), and while very well written it was a little slow and pretty depressing. Then Julie Garwood's Hotshot. I finished it but it was just ok. Next is either Janet Evanovich's The Heist (a library book that I had on hold, which became available) or Amy Harmon's Making Faces.

Heather it was awesome!!!! I didn't want it to be over, it was such a fun, sweet look at Dragos with Peanut.

Finished Maya Banks' Highlander Most Wanted and Pamela Clare's Upon a Winter's Night...really loved them both. Also finished Kristan Higgin's The Perfect Match and really liked that one as well. The conversation with her eggs was pretty funny at times, because I could totally relate.

Finished Making Faces. Wouldn't call it a romance, more like a coming of age, but wow, what a beautiful story.

Reading Jake Undone by Penelope Ward, my monthly loan from Amazon. Ok so far.

Just about done with The Bartered Bride Romance Collection.  It's an anthology of mail order bride stories (Christian).  The first couple stories weren't good IMO but the last 4 were great.

Wow.  I just finished Making Faces after all the recommendations, and all I can say is Wow.  That was a great book, but please warn people that they will be crying their eyes out.  I knew from the synopsis it would be sad, but I had no idea I would cry the way I did.

Love Finds You in Frost, Minnesota by Judy Baer was good! cute and light and predictable and definitely has the christian element - prayers and Bible verses - and they seemed tof it where they were used. really enjoyed this one. now reading another Love Finds You that has 2 stories- reading Ruth Logan Herne's story now - set in the 1940s with a bell ringer heroine and NY cop..so far so good! I actually have a bunch of books i'm wanting to read right now -g ood thing some vacation time is coming up this next month! couple of amish stories- one romance and one mystery from library ebooks-vicki lewis thompson's  werewolf in alaska, couple of romances coming up dec 1...hard to decide!

Read Dragos Takes a Holiday and LOVED it.  Such a great couple they are!   Also read a novella by Susanna Fraser - Christmas Past.  Just ok.  I think you also read that Willa?

Currently reading Gena Showalter's Ectasty In Darkness. Finished Connie Brockway's No Place for a Dame and really liked it. It was a wonderful wrap up the series. I hope she does a Christmas story where we get to see all 3 guys with their ladies. I wasn't ready for the story to be over. Did a re-read of KEW's Ashes In The Wind...and it was just as good as it was back in the 70's. Wonderful Civil War read!

Finished Junk and, I gotta tell you, I'm re-evaluating my TBR piles. *shudder*

Now reading Rock Bottom by Jade C Jamison. About 40% in. Not sure if Ethan can do enough to redeem himself from all his antics in Bullet though.

Read a couple of novellas yesterday, nothing to write home about.  They were:

Crash and Burn by Anne Marsh

Just Passing Through by Ashielle Rose  (eye roller)

A Wish to Build a Dream On by Michelle Willingham, which was good but just too short.

I did Sherri and agree, it was just okay.

Finally read Fangirl -- didn't love it quite as much as Rowell's first two books, but still liked it very, very much. She writes such great, real characters. I was up all night because something heartbreaking happened at midnight!
