Finished Sarah MacLean's No Good Duke Goes Unpunished and it was an absolute fabulous story. I knew Temple's book was going to be good and it was!!! Going to do a re-read of EJ's A Duchess Before Christmas, but also going to start Victoria Dahl's So Tough to Tame.

Willa I hope all is well for you.

I finished Rock Bottom (Bullet #2). I liked it a lot more as a recovering addict story than a love story. Just didnt buy the romance by the end of the book.

Now about halfway through Guilty Pleasures by Kitty Thomas.

I read the Luckiest Lady in London and really liked it. I rarely read historical romances any more but make exceptions for Sherry Thomas and Loretta Chase. I was half way through Jake Undone but then I bought a number of kindle books on sale for 99 cents and switched to Fixed on You by Laurelin Paige, after reading the sample. I plan to finish those two and then onto Kendall Grey's Nocturnes, her most recent in the Hard Rock Harlots. I'm also going to try to read Janet Evanovich's the Heist before it's returned from my kindle back to the library but I'm not sure that's going to happen.

I'm anxious to hear how Guilty Pleasures is. I bought it when it was on sale last week. I loved Tender Mercies, thought Comfort Food was ok, but didn't like Big Sky at all.

Catching up on some of the ebooks I've bought recently.  Read the last two FUC stories by Eve Langlais, Lion and the Falcon and Doe and the Wolf.  Just love her stuff!  So funny.

I'm also working thru a print book, The Forgetful Spy by Lara Santiago.  Hopefully they'll explain away the huge plot hole that's been bugging me since the beginning of the book.

I'm currently reading  Thanksgiving Prayer / A Handful of Heaven by Debbie Macomber and Jillian Hart, and "Looking for Me" by Beth Hoffman.

Both are great books!  smiley

I finished Hard Evidence and I'm about to start Unlawful Contact. I don't usually like stories about reporters but these are great.

I liked Guilty Pleasures a lot. Probably a little more than Comfort Food. Only because there was a lot more dialogue. I loved that Comfort Food was big time psychological, but because it was, we spent most of our time in her head. I like more dialogue than that. Guilty Pleasures was pretty predictable, though. I suspected the ending very early on and was pretty much sure of it by the halfway point. I would love a follow up novel or even novella one day.  Tender Mercies is probably my fave Kitty Thomas so far.

But since I seem to not be able to put her books down once I start them, I searched through my Kindle and found Mafia Captive and started that one.

Finished Gena Showalter's Dark Taste of Rapture and I really liked Hector and Noelle's story, but can't wait for Dallas to find his lady. He wants a HEA so bad.

I finished Unlawful Contact and it was great, these books remind me of Maya Banks' KGI series. I'm continuing on my I Team glom and reading Naked Edge.

Rebecca, that is my favorite book out of the series and I love the entire series, but Kat and Gage's story is very special.  Forgot to put in what I was reading. I finished Burrowes's Andrew: Lord of Despair and liked it, but can't wait for Douglas's book. I started Enoch's The Devil Wears Kilts.

Finished Mafia Captive and was so disappointed. I've never actually not liked a Kitty Thomas book.  crying

I also read a short story, Child of Chaos, apparently based on Sons of Anarchy. It was alright.

I think I'm going to start Jane's Melody by Ryan Winfield next.

I loved Naked Edge, I wouldn't say it was my favorite but it was great. I've already read Breaking point, it was a deal one day and I got it cheap. It's what got me hooked on the series. I've been in such a slump lately with romantic suspense. The last KGI book was somewhat disappointing to me, so I needed a well written RS novel. I'm now at the latest one of the I Team books, Striking Distance. It will be my weekend read.

Striking Distance was a very emotional read. I finished Suzanne Enoch's The Devil Wears Kilts and it was a pretty good beginning to the new series. Ended a bit too quickly for me, but the next in the series is going to pick right up where this one ends. Also read anthology A Christmas to Remember. Only ready the Jill Shalvis (Lucky Harbor 8.5) and the Kristen Ashely (Chaos 2.5) and liked them both. Can't wait for the next Chaos book. I am thinking of picking up a Cynthia Eden book, not sure which one.

I read about 1/3 of Janet Evanovich's The Heist and I think I'm going to let the ebook be returned to the library unfinished. I just wasn't into it. I'm back to Jake Undone, which I like so far but don't love.

Ugh. I'm just not having a lot of luck.  Jane's Melody was kind of blah. I'm amazed at the almost 1,800 5 star reviews on Amazon.

Now I'm going to switch it up with a NA book, Julliard or Else by Nichele Reese.
