NEW WEEK!!!

I read Strangers by Barbara Elsborg and I absolutely LOVED it!!! Amazing! They were so absolutely perfect for each other. I'm not sure who was more messed up, but together, they were beautiful. My heart clenched and my eyes watered. The epilogue was beautiful too. Just a really great and moving piece of work.

I am currently reading Grace on Fire by Elle Amery on my Kindle (it's no longer available though, I think there is a publishing changing going on) and I am loving it! The heroine was abused both physically and mentally by both her father and her late husband, so she has big issues.  The hero is a good friend who has been in love with her for years and is going to help her with her issue of being afraid of men in general.  Love it!

I am cruising through the Marsha Moyer series that starts with The Second Coming of Lucy Hatch.  Good writing.  Good characters.  Perfect vacation reads.

Kudo's Keri!   I'm at 305 I think and may possibly get one more in this year.

Almost done with Just For Fun by Rosallind James.  Hubby got me a BN gift card as part of my Christmas and now I have to decide what to buy.  Decisions....decisions.....LOL

Here's my FictFact page - any recommendations?  http://www.fictfact.com/list/Sherri911/ALL

I got a B&N gift card, too (from my mom).  I always have the hardest time choosing!
I think that's why I love PBS... I pretty much only get wish list books and I only get them when my turn comes up.... no decision-making necessary!  lol

I finished Robyn Carr's My Kind of Christmas and it was ok.  After reading a couple Kristen Ashley books & then a M/M erotic romance, the Virgin River book felt like cotton candy.  lol

Finished The Duchess War and it wound up a 5 star read for me. A real convention-twister.

I finished Unraveled. It was awesome. I love it when two characters are so perfect for each other. And I love Courtney Milan.

Now I'm reading Sinful by Charlotte Featherstone. Matthew is something else.

Omg - I don't remember if it was Michelle or Keri that recently read Sinful. I got to page 256 and then the next page is 289!!!!! WTF?? I've tried looking online for a link or download of the missing pages, but I don't even see a reference to them anywhere! I know I already printed out the epilogue and I thought I had another something printed out (maybe that is the missing pages). Idk - I'm at work right now. I'll have to look when I get home.

Re-read Lothaire, Unraveled and The Duchess War. Gearing up for 2013 though. Some awesome series to finish in the new year. Outlander, thinking of taking on the Pennyroyal Green series, KMM Highlander series, MHI series, Booth and Fry, Steve Hamillton, Mary Jo Putney's Fallen Angel series, the Lori Armstrong's Juli Collins and her Mercy Gunderson series, Kerrlyn Sparks Vampire series and I may finish Gena Showalter's LotU series...not sure yet, I am not sold on the series yet. What are you going to be into for 2013?

Tonya - Sinful is a keeper for me, so I have the book if you want to borrow it.  I've had that happen with missing pages before - it's SO frustrating!

Tonya, I have the ebook and it seems to be complete -- I could copy the missing pages for you.

Oh my gosh - that was one messed up book. Literally. It went from p. 256 to 289. I found the missing pages online. Then I went back to the book and picked up on 289 where it left off. Reading along and I get to p. 304 and bam! The next page is 289 again!! WTF??!! Seriously! The book was great though, I really loved it. I didn't need the epilogue. I was content without it. But I do understand how some people would have needed it to wrap up the HEA. And it was a nice epilogue. I had assumed such an ending for myself, but it was beautiful to read. He turned out to be everything you could want. Or I guess everything I could want. :)

Oh, and thanks for the offers ladies!

Tonya, i had a similar situation a while ago, and when i contacted the publisher they sent me a brand new complete copy.  i'd give it a try if i were you, unless it's something really old.  [fortunately i found the missing pages online too, so i could finish it right then.]

Thanks Ellen, I think I'll do that. Picked up Mary Janice Davidson's Wolf at the Door. Ntm author.

I'd like to answer Keri, though maybe this should be a thread of it's own.

Series I'd like to read in 2013. Chicagoland Vampires (loving this!) by Chloe Neill, Night Huntress by Jeanine Frost, Ward's BDB series (I'm only up to bk 5), Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series and I'm not really sure what else. I think I'm going to read Lothaire and I may try the IAD series too. We'll see. I'd also like to read some of the Julie Garwood I've picked up. And I plan on reading some more of the AAR Top 100 books. (I read 20 of those this year).

Favorite reads of 2012 (there are two tiers) -Top Tier: Butterfly Tattoo, Fallen From Grace, Strangers, and Sinful

Second Tier: Shadowfever, Dark Duet (CJ Roberts), Honor Thy Teacher, Bared To You, Reflected in You, Blue Eyed Devil, Bet Me, Scandalous Desires, Outlander, any McNaught except Double Standards

Favorite new authors - Courtney Milan, Teresa Mummert, Darynda Jones, Sylvia Day, Megan Hart, Kristen Ashley, Chloe Neill and Jeanine Frost

A Leaf in the Wind of All Hallows by Diana Gabaldon was really good.  VERY touching and pulled at the heartstrings.  I cried.

Also finished Under the Mistletoe by Jill Shalvis - wonderful read.  Cried with that one too!
