Wanted to read some Christmas books, so I read Christie Craig's The Cop Who Stole Christmas...was a cute read. Also read Cynthia Eden's A Vampire's Christmas Carol and liked the twist on a old classic. Taking a rest from romance and reading Colin Cotterill's The Woman Who Wouldn't Die. Love Dr. Siri!

Juilliard or Else has been kind of slow going so far. Hoping it gets better. I also started a book on my cell today at an appointment, Taming Vegas by Nadene Seiders.

finished Werewolf in Alaska by Vicki Lewis Thompson - had a lot of funny/cutesy stuff but the overall story was a bit lacking  the werewolf likes the human woman but has an organization against werewolves mixing with the inferior humans- now how she can sit through all his putting down humans (actually confronts him after sex...) then at the very end some drama that lasted all of 3 pages or so...overally I liked it because I like nice easy drama-free reads LOL but this one didn't have much of a good storyline.

now reading The Christmas Angel by Tina Russo - indie from Tina Radcliffe a christian author. so far nothing christian though it's clean...

I'm still reading Striking Distance and I have to say it's quite stressful. I like a little downtime in my romantic suspense and this is all stress all the time. Both the H and h have heavy issues and aren't dealing with them well. I almost put it aside for something else but by them I was too far in to not read more, if that makes any sense. Don't get me wrong, it's a great book, just stressful.

Yesterday's read was Hallowed Ground (Julie Collins, PI, book 2) by Lori Armstrong.  I love these books, but they are so dark and disturbing, I probably shouldn't have stayed up so late to finish it.

I DNF'ed So Tough to Tame by Victoria Dahl.  I usually love her stuff, but this series does nothing for me.  Book 1 worked, book 2 was a struggle, this was book 3, so I just took book 4 off my WL.

Mot really sure what's up next, my TBR is growing too large to make an easy choice.  Also, we've been house-bound for 4 days by the ice, and I'm a tad stir crazy!

Renee, I hear that...I was going to go crazy if school wasn't in today, luckily for me Mesquite ISD took pity on me. I finished the Dr. Siri mystery...top-notch as always. Now started Tami Hoag's The 9th Girl...not sure what I will have after that. I am hoping that my Maya Rodale book makes it in so I can start that.

I finished Jake Undone. Liked it but didn't love it. I kept thinking he deserved someone who didn't have so many problems.

I am finishing up Aleatha Romig's Consequences series — finished Truth yesterday and am heavily into Convicted. This series is seriously effed up, but I love it!

I woke up this morning to a nice surprise. A Beautiful Wedding by Jamie McGuire was delivered to my Kindle last night. I forgot that I had pre-ordered it.  Now I want to speed through the rest of Taming Vegas, so I can move on. LOL

Oh and Snow Day for the kiddies so I got to sleep in too! Yay!

I finished Striking Distance and I have to say, I didn't like it. At all. It wasn't a bad book, I just didn't like the ending. Plenty of other people liked the book.

I needed something different and definitely lighter, so I read Kristen Ashely's story in A Christmas to Remember. It was sweet and very enjoyable.  I love those Chaos badasses :).

I started Nocturnes but the beginning was even a little too hardcore for me. I put it aside for the time being and am now reading Joanna Wylde's Reaper's Property.

For sure Rebecca it wasn't a book for everybody. I gave it 5 stars, but I did wish the ending could have been different. Only because I would have made different decisions, so it is hard to take yourself out of those kinds of details and not let it affect how you feel about such an emotional book. I read Gaelen Foley's My Notorious Gentleman and it was a light enjoyable read.

I'm feeling so curmudgeonly lately. Keep giving books others rave about C grades. Reminding myself that really, not every book is awesome and my opinions are just as legitimate as anyone else's...

Now I need to find something for the TBR challenge, holiday edition.

reading a Love Inspired now by ruth logan herne. pretty good so far- wasn't wild about the heroine who showed up in the last story but am interested in the hero LOL so hope it's a good one. Rina Russo's was pretty good- cute - and apparently her indie books aren't christian - clean but no scripture quotes

Finished the Bobbie Faye book.  It was cute but I felt like she was trying too hard to be funny.

Read Debra Ullrick's Unlikely Wife and it was a sweet read with a good message. Also read Kristen Ashley's Jagged and it was also a sweet read, loved that ending. Not sure what I am reading next...too much selection.

Yea, I felt like she let him off the hook a bit too easily. Have you read the rest of the books in that series? I started NTM author Laura Kaye's As Hard As It Gets and it has been an awesome read so far....LICK   LIKE Nick ALOT! :-)
