I'm taking a break from review books with Unfinished Business by Nora Roberts. I searched for about 10 minutes to find a library that had it available, and then discovered I already owned it for Kindle. blush So I damned well better enjoy it! So far, the heroine is a ninny and there's way too much headhopping. frown

I read Lost and Found by Kelly Jamieson today. It was a truly beautiful story. And sexy!  I was unsure about it for awhile. The last 30% or so made the book for me though.

Now on to One True Thing by M.J. O'Shea and Piper Vaughn.

I finished Wayward One by Lorelie Brown.

It had lots of angst and emotion, but not much steam for a Samhain book.  Fabulous hero and an annoying heroine up until the last third of the book... then she redeemed herself a bit!

I finished Love Finds you in Wildrose, North Dakota by Tracey Bateman.  It was pretty good. Touchy content but I think the author worked it out nicely.

Now I'm reading Lipstick and Leather by Cheyenne McCray.

Geez - this is terrible. I'm on my 3rd ebook in a row that is mediocre at best. I'm reading Fury by Tammy Coons and Michelle Pace. I'm maybe 40%  into it, and it's just not wowing me at all. The writing is just so blah and the h makes no sense to me at all. I will soldier on though. I'm curious what is going on with one of the characters - and she's not even a main character.

I'm reading a couple of books right now. Still reading Rock Hard and about halfway through The Darkest Secret. I'd taken a break from the LotU but now want to finish the series.

Lipstick and Leather by Cheyenne McCray was a wallbanger.

I also read a short novella called My Fake Fiancee by Lisa Scott.  Not a bad read if you can suspend belief on the timeline to the ILY's.

Not sure what I'm reading next.

I finished Fury. More like skimmed to the end. Ugh!

Now I'm reading Sticks and Stones (second in the Cut and Run series) by Madeleine Urban and Abigail Roux. At least I know this will be good!! I'm just starting the second chapter and I just love being back with Ty and Zane! heart

I am reading Olivia Cunning's Sole Regret series, Try Me, Tempt Me, Take Me. Kind of a rip-off from her Sinners on Tour books, but still good.

Finished my first Betty Neels, Cassandra by Chance. The first half was just delightful, then it got derailed into typical 1970s Harlequin. Ah well.

Oh, let's see.  Reading has been sporadic for me lately.  I read about half of the anthology Kiss Me, I'm Irish- first story was pretty good, second one is where I got hung up.  I usually like everything by Shalvis, but that one didnt' do it for me, I think because I couldn't relate to the heroine.  So, DNF'd that one.  Read All He Ever Needed (Kowalski #4) by Shannon Stacey, and it was about as good as the previous books in the series.  It's been awhile since I read them though, and it took me awhile to figure out how the characters in this one are related to the ones in the previous books.  Pretty typical plot that I seem to reading a lot of lately- hero is a hands off type, only out for sex with no attachment, heroine has been burned so doesn't want to get involved and agrees to the just sex thing, then fall in love anyway, the end.  Maybe I need to try some new authors, because this plot is being done to death.  Now I'm on Perect Fit, Serendipity # whatever by Carly Phillips (#4?)  Guess I have read so dang many small town romance series that I'm losing track, lol.

After reading three back to back books for review, I opted to read something of my choice. I needed a Kristen Ashley fix so I am reading Rock Chick.

I tried to read Loki's Daughters by Delle Jacobs and just couldn't get past the writing.  It wasn't bad just a bit difficult to read.  Now I'm reading Boomerang Bride by Fiona Lowe.

I changed my mind, im holding off on Beyond Complicated for a day or two. I turned on my Kindle today and seen Die for Me: A Novel of the Valentine Killer by Cynthia Eden. I forgot I had pre-ordered it a while back for 99 cents. I started it and am halfway through. Its SO good! Romanctic Suspense is my favorite.

Finished the JAK's Dream Eyes and it was just meh for me. She has beat this paranormal horse in to the ground. She needs to give it a break for awhile.

Boomerang Bride by Fiona Lowe was such a disappointment for me. I hated the hero.

I'm currently reading another BDB, Butch's story, and it's not grabbing me the way the first 3 books did. I'm finding a lot of waffling, I do I don't, I love you but have to push you away. I can understand the situation with Butch being human and Marissa not but I hope there's a decent resolution because it just ain't happenin' right now.

I also downloaded the 3rd Midnight Breed (Lara Adrian) and 2-in-1 Mary Balogh so I'm bouncin back and forth between the Ward & Balogh.

Tonya, I tried to listen to Sticks and Stones on audio and it just did not translate. :-(

Reading Making Him Sweat by Meg Maguire. Finishing Mariana on audio. I can't wait to finish it and start Archangel's Kiss!
