I'm still reading the SEAL of My Dreams anthology.  The stories are short but there must be a gazillion of them, because I'm only halfway through!  I love, love, LOVED Cindy Gerard's.... great catching up with Luke & Val.  smiley

I finished The Narrow Path by Gail Sattler and it was good. I enjoyed it.   DNF'd To Seduce an Earl by Lori Brighton - didn't care for the hero.

I've started 3 books today and none have grabbed me.  ;-(

Finsihed "A Bride Most Begrudging and really liked it. Then read The Measure of a Lady by Deeanne Gist and liked it also but it was a little preachy. Just finished

Jewel of Atlantis (Atlantis, Bk 2) by Gena Showalter and it was ok, spoilers below (highlight to read)

Why oh why when the h/h are on the run for their lives do they have them stop and SHOP and fool around? Hello, you're running for your life, whoopie would be the last thing on my mind.

I just finished a freebie I got off Amazon this morning... Eye of the Beholder by Emma Jay.

It is a historical romance but half of it is told from the POV of the hero.  Very, very well written!  I will be looking for other works by this author.

I have a bunch of books started and want to read them all but just too distracted! work has been busy and I'v been trying not to brin anything 'long and ivnolved' to read during breaks -instead I've had cookbooks or magazines or blogs to read - the shorter sections make them easier to pick up/put down.

still reading the Blaze in that Alaska series...want to read JAK's newest - copper beach I think it's called...and a couple of others including some non-fiction.

Started Marsha Canham's In The Shadow of Midnight, but having a hard time staying with it. I have alot of family drama going on right now and it is hard to concentrate on anything too deep. So I might switch over to Singh's Angel's Blood or go ahead and finished out my Knights of Miscellany, I just have Jack's book and I will be finished with the series.

I'm having trouble concentrating too. I finished The Reluctant Dom, which made me cry buckets. Nothing else seems interesting now. I've been listening to audiobooks because it's easy.

I read Hanchart Land by Becky Barker today.  Very reminiscent of Diana Palmer.  I liked it but wished it had been longer.

Almost finished The Nymph King (Atlantis, Bk 3) by Gena Showalter and enjoying it much more than book two. Also reading To the Edge (Bodyguards, Bk 1) by Cindy Gerard, not too far into it yet.

I'm continuing to read the Troubleshooters series by Suzanne Brockmann. I finished The Defiant Hero (book 2) which I thought was just OK - I really didn't like the heroine. I'm now starting Over the Edge (Stan and Teri's story) and I'm liking it so far.

In between those books, I read a couple of ARCs. Read A Rogue by Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean, a NTM author. While I hated the hero (such a jerk), I liked the book and I'll be looking to read other books by the author. I also got to read Rainshadow Road by Lisa Kleypas - the second book in her Friday Harbor contemporary series, which I thought was much better than the first book in the series. I was so disappointed by the first book in the series (I didn't think there was much there). This is the middle brother's story (Sam) and it was good.

I'm halfway through Dark Challenge (Carpathians (Dark), Bk 5) :: Christine Feehan and loving it. People like to say oh they are repetitive, oh there is better stuff now....I don't care. I enjoy the repetitiveness and where did those newer authors get their ideas? I can see where.

Also last night started on a whim (thereby blowing my plan not to read new-to-me stuff til I get some of my series moved along) Demon Possession :: Kiersten Fay. This is really good!  There are a lot of errors though. Editor needed!

Also reading The Wedding Duel :: Karen L. King which is very good. I haven't gotten that far into it, as the other two distracted me.

I'm still reading SEAL of My Dreams.  For a bunch of short stories, it sure is taking me forever and a day to read it!  lol

I did read Mistress Christmas by Lorelei James (thanks Sherri!) in between stories.

Taking a break from romance and reading "The Admiral's Daughter" by Victoria Fyodorova.  Well, it is a romance of a sort.  Russian/Soviet actress loves an
American military man in 1940's Moscow, they part, he doesn't know he has a daughter. This is her daughter's story of their lives in the USSR and how Victoria comes to learn about her father and ultimately finds and meets him.

I read this book years ago and just now got it again through PBS and love reading this true story.

Fnishing up the audio of Just the Sexiest Man Alive. It's been pleasant but I'm still not sure why James is so popular. [shrug]

I finally finished the SEALs anthology.  Whew - what a production.  Most of the stories were so, so good, though - definitely worth the read.  Now I'm reading Love Me by Bella Andre.

I have an e-reader question.  I went to read a book (pdf) on my Nook and most of the pages are blank.  When I pull it up on my computer in Adobe, it shows up, but the pages are kind of grayed out.  Is that why I can't read it on the Nook?  Is there any way I can fix it?

Hmmm, where did you get it?  I'd guess it's a bad copy, though I haven't encountered that problem.
