Started Sharon Sala's The Warrior and I in no way expected that beginning from the back cover blurb. I am not very far into so we shall see. PS I don't have my Ward addiction under control, I had V's book in my hand last night and made myself put it back on the TBR mountain.

Finished Not Wicked Enough by Carolyn Jewel. I wound up liking it more than I thought from the first half -- there was some nice pining from the hero, who was willing to do just about anything to make things work.

I just finished the 1st Lady Julia Grey - part of a 3-book ebook omnibus. Accidentally found it when searching through my library's ebook section. Enjoyed the book very much.

Next book will be getting back to Carole Mortimer's HIS CHRISTMAS VIRGIN, HPExtra I started yesterday - it started off quiet well but I set it aside to finish Butcher's GRAVE PERIL and start the Raybourn.

Reading Deeper than Midnight (Lara Adrian).  It's taking all of my admittedly small amount of self-control to not ignore my husband, my children and my visiting mother in favor of sitting around to finish this book.  Hunter and Corinne's first love scene?  One of the most romantic, touching things I've read in a long time.  Something about two people who have never experienced love learning about intimacy together... I love watching a hardened warrior fall.  <sigh>  Corinne is leaving a lot to be desired, though.... not my favorite heroine AT ALL.  Hunter is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo dreamy, though.

Started and finished Redwood Bend by RC.  Pretty good.  I like that she is not dragging every character from the previous books into the most recent ones.  Jack and Mel really only make one or two appearances in this one.

Now I'm not sure what to start- maybe Instant Temptation by Shalvis, so I can finish up the series.

I'm geting ready to start a book for the challenge I'm doing  'capturing the millionaire' by marie ferrarella - tils the millionaire, billionaire, t ycoon challenge. finished another challenge book before sleeping this morning - prince charming by julie garwood. I enjoyed it but it's not one of her better ones - heroine is silly and deceptive and bossy and the alpha hero seems content to be led around like a big dummy and used but hey both seemed happy enough with it. her 'babies' vary between 1 1/2 and 2 and seem to talk and brush their dolls' hair and a couple of times I'd have smacked those kids incuding the smarta$$ 7 yr old boy they end up keeping but of course to them the smarting off is cute. ok whatever at least they got to have sex in spite of the kids one room over with the ittle girls telling the hero's friend all the details about their lack of clothing. anyways wasn't anything like saving grace or ramson IMO but was good for passing the time. seemed to end a bit abruptly and unfinished though IMO.

Just wait until you read Chase's book!  SWOON!!!!!

OK so Full Circle by Irina Shapiro was a dud after all.  Poor woman SERIOUSLY needed an editor.  Worst editing I've seen in a LONG LONG time.

I'm just about finished with Her Abundant Joy by Lyn Cote and it's been pretty darned good.

Keri, I promise I'm not stalking you on the Ward books. I finished Lover Awakened today and I was so sad for it to end. It's probably a good thing I did though because, unfortunately I have a life I have to get back to. I'm for sure going to read the next two, but some of the others don't sound very appealing to me. I'm waiting for books to come in to the library that I requested, so I have no idea what's next.

That is ok Rebecca, I don't feel like I am the last one on the planet to read these books now. :-) I have loved everyone that I have read. I am not going to start book 5...at least not tonight. ;-)  I read Sharon Sala's The Warrior, could have been a great book, but just never made it IMO. I am also reading Playing for Keeps by RL Mathewson and it has been so hilarious that my sides ache from laughing at these two. Her shaving him completely while he was tied up had the tears rolling from laughing so hard.

Just finished Revealed by Evangeline Anderson and it was good, some blatant editing errors that were really annoyinng though. Ended on a cliff hanger for the next book which will be Merrick and Elsie (think that's her name). Not sure what I'll read next.

Keri - you're not the last.  I haven't even started the first BDB book yet!

Just wait until you read Chase's book!  SWOON!!!!!

Sherri - thanks to you I have that one ready to go nextsmiley  My mom has been here for a week visiting, but I am taking her to the airport this morning.  Then I have a date with that book.  (Although I feel that Hunter's book was almost more CHASE'S book, too..... it seemed like Hunter and Corinne were a secondary storyline)

Michelle, you are in for a treat then should you decide to pick that first one up. Wrath and Beth are awesome together.

ETA: I am so darn sleepy this morning I stayed up to 12:30 laughing at Playing for Keeps, I wanted to finish is, but I had to finally give up and go to bed. I love Jason though and this has been one of best funny romances that I have read in a long time.

I, too, haven't started the BDB series, but I have all of them. blush

Over the weekend, I finished Tempted by Her Innocent Kiss by Maya Banks, which was my favorite of the series so far...really, really good! (BTW, Michelle, check your account!)

Also finished up another really good one, Enemy Overnight by Robin L. Rotham. I liked this series a lot more than I originally thought I would.

Moving on to Savage Legacy (Legacy, Bk 3) by Lora Leigh. I really liked this series when I first started it, but now I'm having a hard time finishing it, knowing that LL never completed the series. There are still two more sisters who need their stories told!

I think it's a diffrent series Sherri - the one I was thinking about was a love inspired series she did where they were builing houses like habitat for humanity I think.

I picked up one I'd startd a while back and put aside - somehow managed to find it in the piles while looking for something else! the first 'loose' book by tara janzen - on the loose I think it's called but not sure . not entirely in the mood for suspense but I usually get into these books and have about 3 more after this one since I got some at borders closing sale. I also went by the library and am only short one book for the reading challenge - I requetsed it but I have a copy somwhere or other so if I find it then I'll just read it instead.

still reading On the Loose by Tara Janzen - enjoying it though it's hard to keep all the people straight - I like this other woman who's shown up at one of the guys' houses- I think he's a 'good' drug dealer or a government plant - heck even the bad woman I'm kinda liking her spunk! she'll probably do something bad again and I'll not like her though.

I am halfway though Rainshadow Road by Lisa Kleypas, and even though it is predictable (though really, in this genre, what isn't?) I am enjoying it. The characters are well developed and very likeable. There is a hint of the couple coming up in her next book and I was immediately drawn to them as well, and do NOT want to wait until later this summer for their story!

I am not sure if I like discovering series books and reading them as they are released, or if I prefer finding them a year or so after so that I can gather all the books in that particular series and read them all in a row!

I finished Darker After Midnight.  Lara Adrian made me fall in love with all of the Order warriors all over again.  What an amazing cast of characters she created.

Keri have you read serpent's kiss in that series? I have it up next but wasn't sure about it - wasn't wild about the 2nd book and it's hard to follow some of the logic in that world - but then I have trouble following a menage...

still reading On the Loose by Janzen - might not finish for a few more days since I've been doing other stuff like sewing and surfing the net and r unning errands and snoozing...but maybe I'll feel like staying up later tonight since I have to sleep tomorrow for 2 more night shifts.
