Almost halfway through Ward's Lover Avenged. I just don't see how Rhev can be turned around, he is such bad guy to begin with. But then he has his moments where he does something totally sweet for somebody. I can't read it fast enough.

I read That Old Black Magic by Michelle Rowen, which was not bad. I like that it wasn't a totally chick lit type urban fantasy, but it's not dark and gritty either. Now I am reading Bedeviled by Sable Grace. The main character is annoying the hell out of me. She is not anymore likeable then she was in the last book.

I finally finished the Nora Roberts I was reading.  Not sure what is next.  I am down for the count with a bad cold so hopefully I can get engrossed in a good book.

I had trouble with Rhev, because I couldn't stop thinking he was related to the icky species and that turned me off. (A lot of serious ick in that book.) For some reason, it didn't bother me with Xhex, I guess because I had a firmer picture of her in my mind.

I'm having trouble getting lost in a story right now. Heavy duty day yesterday. Might be audio book time.

Tell me about it, I have either the flu or a viral infection right now. I want to read but I don't have the energy.

I've had bad luck this past week with books- dnf'd my 2nd one the other day.  So I picked up Smart and Sexy by Shalvis, because I've never read a Shalvis I didn't like, and it's been better.  Well, at least I'm culling from the TBR!

Listening to audiobook - Christine Feehan - Dark Magic - been working through the earlier books in the series, liked them so much better than some of the recent ones.

Nook book - Marriage by Mistake by Alyssa Kress - a freebie from B & N I found on Inkmesh? I think - light romance so far but cute -- guy gets hypnotized to do what he wants not what he should and ends up married - so far so good.

Just finished the bridal quartet by Nora Roberts, also a cute series and something mindless hwere I didn't have to think too much. Definitely a trend lately.

Almost done with Exclusively Yours by Shannon Stacey.  I saw a few weeks ago that Leslie was reading them and enjoyed them so I am giving it a shot.  I really like it.  I've already got the next two books in the series so that is probably what I will be reading this week.

Hey Diana- glad you are enjoying those too!  I really liked that whole series and passed them on to Kendra, and she liked them also.  I can't even remember where I heard about that series or that author- it must have either been here or on Goodreads, but I have been grateful ever since, as I am always happy to find a new contemporary author!  Now I just wish that she'd come out with more books!  She has a few available for Kindle, but I"m still in the dark ages and don't have one yet. :(  Hmmm, maybe this year for my birthday!

I finished Lover Revealed and enjoyed it very much. I finished Christine Feehan's Dark Gold. I tended to skim through some of it, it was so much blah, blah, blah. Now I'm trying to decide what's next. I have Elijah, the next Nightwalkers book, but I'm not real crazy about the female lead. She's kind of weird, and I'm not one of those that minds a little weird. Her hair is just ....weird. Oh well, this thread always gives me some good ideas!

Sherri, you were right Rhev was awesome! Loved the book and I am not even going to fight it. I am starting John Matthew's books tomorrow. No way I can wait to see what happens with him and Xhex.

Leslie, you can get Kendle for the pc for free or Nook for PC for that matter. That is how I read all my ebooks. I don't have an ereader either, but I am ok with that.

I am almost finished with Beloved Vampire by Joey W. Hill. These books just get to me (in a good way), this one especially. Lord Mason is the most cuddly vampire I've ever had the pleasure to "meet" in a book.

Just finished Burning Up Flint by Laurann Dohner and it was good, he was a cyborg so not a lot of cuddly moments lol.

Next up is Dangerous Lover (Dangerous, Bk 1) by Lisa Marie Rice and it's starting out good.

*sigh* I am almost to page 200 in Lover Mine and omgoshhhhhh, what can you say about John Matthew and Xhex...dang talk about a star crossed couple, but man what a great gripping read so far. I can so see this book on the big screen. I am dying to ask somebody who has read the book a question, but I don't know if I want to know the answer.

Keri, don't ask, just read, you'll love the story, I promise.

I'm trying to finally get into Lover Unleashed (Payne's story) so that I can get Tohr's book tomorrow.  Can't wait!

I am anxious about Tohr's book. The blurbs I keep seeing make me anxious lol I hate when I get like that over books.

I am thinking of reading Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews next, haven't read anything by her but everyone seems to like them lol

I read Sleeping with the Alpha by Celeste Rain and was underwhelmed.  I also have to add - and no offense to e-ink Kindle lovers - but I much prefer my Nook Color for reading.  Having to have a light source to read is a little perturbing.  LOL

Now I'm reading The Lost by Caridad  Pineiro.  It was just named a RITA finalist today so I'm hoping that it will be good.

Sherri - I really wanted a Nook color, but I went with the basic e-ink because the backlit screen KILLS my eyes!  I'm on my computer so much that I can't stand to read an ebook on that same type of screen!  Having to use a light is a pain in the rear, though - I agree!

I finished up one of Tara Janzen's 'Loose' books - Johnny and Esme's story don't remember the title - may start the next in the series or go to a library book or something for a short break. they introduced a new assassination and don't wanna spoil things but it's someone they know or think they know and not sure i wanna drag through a lot of that but darn it's Dax's story and I liked Dax from the book I just finished so may have to continue..well I'll continue but I've already been in 3 spurts on this series and hate to leave it again even temporarily then try to remember people - al ready forgotten who Zach is and he was mentioned in this last book!

Okay, so I broke down today and bought a Nook Tablet.  Now what?  I have lots of books on my Nook library, but I also have tons of Kindle & stuff from AllRomance (among others).   How do I get those onto my Nook?  I know I'm a late adopter, so bear with me, please.
