I just finished a 1990 Silhoutte SE, THE COWBOY'S LADY/Macomber, now I'm starting the 2nd book in the sisters' series. It's a library ebook bundle.

I still haven't started the J. R. Ward, DARK LOVER, but it's renewable (I hope) so I'll have an additional couple of weeks to get to it.

Giving romance a break for now and picked up Cody MacFadyen's The Face of Death....dang hard book to get through, just for content alone. The writing is awesome though.

I'm reading To Taste Temptation by Elizabeth Hoyt for a reading challenge. It's the first of the Four Soldiers books. I haven't read any of hers in awhile. I forgot how good she is.... :) Definitely a good rainy weekend read. Next up is either Darynda Jones or JR Ward. Tough decision, but I'm thinking Darynda. Third Grave Dead Ahead.

I read a TRULY hysterical - and not in a good way - romance today called The Renegade's Woman by Nikita Black.  OH. EM. GEE.  About to post a review on GR but the purple prose was flying!  LOL  I'll give her points for entertaining me anyway.   ;-)

Don't think I'm going to make it through Rake with a Frozen Heart. Super cliched and frothy. Back to Passion Unleashed. And I *finally* got The King of Attolia -- they'd shelved it under my first name. Guess I can't stay mad at my husband now, darn it.

Sherri, I grabbed that freebie from Amazon too.  Nice to hear it's entertaining at least.

I just finished up To Command and Collar by Cherise Sinclair.  I swear, I love every single book in her Club Shadowlands series.  And I can see two more brewing out of this one that I can't wait to read!

Inked Magic by Jory Strong was a good start to a new series, but it definitely won't be a standalone series — it ended on a cliffhanger. It was very long, with tons of little side stories going on that were kind of hard to keep track of, but I did enjoy it overall.

Also finished another long one, Belong to Me (Wicked Lovers, Bk 5 ) by Shayla Black. Not my favorite in this series, but last quarter of the book was really good.

Continuing with my swap/trade reading, I'm now on Their Virgin Captive.

Started Molly Harper's Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs and so far it has been kinda cute. This is NTM author that I picked up at the big BN PNR sale.

I am almost done with Slade by Laurann Dohner...it's even better than the first, and I can't wait to read Valiant's story next.

Well, I can't renew the J. R. Ward BDB #1 so I have to return it by Wednesday, no way can I read it by then, so I'll have to request it again later in the year, or else order it from Amazon. I'm disappointed but maybe I just wasn't in the mood for the book right now. Everything happens for a reason, and I'm patient, I can wait.

I'm finishing up the 2nd Manning Sisters book (Macomber), and I'll start the Deanna Raybourn next, #5 in the series.

I actually read a good book that was free on Amazon. It's like 1 in 100 that are good. It was Divine Retribution by Kathi S. Barton. Even though I felt like I was missing out on some part of the story it was a decent read.

Ashley, I just finished Valiant's books and it was awesome!

I keep loving the next hero more than the last lol I wonder if she will ever have any New Species heroines, with a human hero. That would be interesting. And wow does she have some hot covers on her books lol

I was in Vegas for the weekend with a friend, so I didn't read much, but I did read If You Know Her by Shiloh Walker.  WOW!  I had no clue who the murderer was.  I thought it was very well done.  She surprised me and really made me like Law & Nia as a couple when I didn't expect to.

I read and finished Third Grave Dead Ahead yesterday. Now I can't wait for the next one. I can see she is definitely building up to something. Something good, I'm sure. smiley

Finished Slade by Laurann Dohner. I feel like the end was a bit abrupt, but still liked it a lot. Now on to Valiant.

To Win Her Heart by Karen Witemeyer was a nice read. Nothing spectacular but it did have a tearjerker moment with the hero and his mother.   Overall, I'd give it a low 3 stars.

Not sure what I'm reading next. I started my 12 day vacation today and I've got ebooks piling up like crazy!  I may just take tomorrow and read all day since my son and husband will be at school and work!

Started Lover Eternal last night. (Yes, I am officially hooked on the BDB) I've got what I expect to be a couple of really really good books on my immediate TBR list, and I don't want to rush through any of them! If I can manage that though, will be another story, I am willing to bet.

Tonya, the book you reading and the next two are flat out the best in the series IMO. I mean overall the series is awesome, but there is something about those particular books...well and John Matthews of course.

Sherri, are you going to read the next Guild Hunter book? You know you want to. :-)
