I started a Cynthia Eden book. Not my usual thing, but I'm enjoying it.

I just finished Deanna Raybourn's THE DARK ENQUIRY - Victorian mystery but still a romantic story. Nicholas is so - so - so, oh my goodness I don't know ow to describe him: wounded warrior, hurting, vulnerable, capable of great love and faithfulness and devotion. Wow.

Now I'm going back to a Superromance ebook I'm almost finished with, CLAIMING COLLEEN.

I read Mary Jo Putney's The Rake. I enjoyed the book, but it wouldn't have made my top 100 list. I also finished Courtney Milan's The Governess Affair and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the next full length novel in the series.

Reading Leslie Tentler's Midnight Caller and so far it has been a pretty good romantic suspense.

I finished Inside Out.  Gah - the first half was so sickenly "he's so awesome, how can he want me?" and "I've waited YEARS to make my move on her".  I don't think Lauren Dane did either of these characters justice with this book, at least until the halfway point.  Then it got better.  Full review on Goodreads.

I finished up - again - Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon. Such a good read.  I think as I get older, my perceptions of the characters change also, which is great.  I also read a novella called Outfoxed by Marie Harte, 4th book in a series.  Probably my last in that series too.  Didn't do a thing for me.

Finished Eternal Hunter by Cynthia Eden. Kind of same-old same-old as paranormals go, but the hero is very hot.

Finished listening to Ready Player One. It was very fun. Had perhaps a bit of a mixed message.

I'm almost finished with Shadow's Stand by Sarah McCarty.  I love those Hells Eight guys, but it doesn't seem like anything really HAPPENS in this book other than Shadow being in jail or about to hang.

Currently reading Molly Harper's How to Flirst with a Naked Werewolf and it has been fun and cute, but I wish we were in Cooper's head a bit more so he could be more fleshed out to me.

Archangel's Kiss by Nalini Singh was good, but the whole angle with Elena's mothers death confused me.  Did she kill herself or was she killed?  Gah!  OK, now I'm reading the next one  Archangel's Consort

I'm reading Mark of the Rose (Tudor Vampire Chronicles, Bk 3) by Kate Pearce. It was slow going at first, but it's beginning to pick up. I've loved Rhys throughout the entire series.

Reading the second Cynthia Eden... I'll Be Slaying You? I like this one better than Eternal Hunter. Good story.

I am putting aside Wages of Sin for right now because I am having a hard time staying with it. So I picked up J. R. Ward's Covet and it hooked me from the start.

Well, I don't know how you make huge, hunky, alpha werewolves boring, but Stephanie Tyler managed it. Of course it could just be my mood. I put that book down and read BDB #5 instead. Always a good read even if I'm not really interested in all the story lines equally. I have them all now but I've been slow reading them because I need a big block of time to read them. Once I start it's very hard to put down :)
