New Week!

I started LLM's Second Hand Bride.  I think I waited too long since reading book 2, but I'm catching up.

I'm reading a Signet trad Regency which was requested from me.

It's a good thing I don't 'keeper' anything I read any more because some of the trads I've recently read have been wonderful - I'm glad they've been going to good homes. This one is another Emma Lange who is quickly becoming a favorite trad writer.

hugs Keri - hope all goes well with your dad.

Gail I can't imagine not keeping anything! (probably why Im so overrun with books) I have some that I do re-read sometimes and would miss them if they were gone!

I"m reading A Wolf's Heart by Vivi Anna, a Harlequin Nocturne. pretty good so far but I'm not too far along. I think this ties into a series she did so I may go back and start the series if I like this one.

I don't keep much anymore, except ebooks. Many wonderful books, but I just don't reread much anymore -- am always chasing after that new wonderful book over the horizon. :-) I'm slowly cleaning out my old keepers, many of which are really not all that but made a strong impression on first reading them.

Reading Virtue and Vice by Megan Hart. Very good, as always.

I still have my [old] keepers, but in the last year or so there haven't been many books I've really wanted to keep, and once I donated them or swapped them here it didn't bother me - which is a good thing.

So far I haven't read a potential keeper. Time will tell.

I just plowed through Elizabeth Hoyt's Maiden Lane series.  Her earlier works I enjoyed, but were not wow-ed by them so when I finished the first of this series I was so suprised and downloaded

the rest. Now I have to wait for the next book...eek!

Keri, you are in my thoughts.  *Hugs*

I've been reading non-romance the last few days, so nothing new to report here.

So, so sorry to hear of your dad's passing, Keri. We've lost a lot of family here in the forums this year. Very sad.

Hugs,

Keri, I'm sorry about your dad. May he rest in peace.

I finished Jennifer Cruise's Crazy for You. Liked it. Almost too much going on there for me. It's part of a 2 in 1 book. The other half is Tell Me Lies, but I'm not reading that one now. I started Deeper by Megan Hart. That one's been on my MWL for quite some time and I just ordered it with that no shipping coupon from Half.com.

I'm sorry for your loss, Keri.

I'm still on Superb and Sexy, and it's dragging.  Been skimming most of it...meh.  Usually I love Shalvis, and I liked the first book of this series, but these last two have just not done it for me.

I polished off Rescue Me (Rachel Gibson).  It was good and she seems to have set it up for the next one.

I'm about 1/3 of the way through Jill Shalvis' Lucky In Love.  What are the odds at 2 damaged former navy seal heroes in 2 back to back books.  It's taking a little bit of brain power to remember which issues go with which guy, but I'm still enjoying it.

Thanks again ladies for all your lovely thoughts. :-)   I am opting for light and frothy, so I am reading Linsey Sands's The Husband Hunt. Renee couldn't get enough of sexy Ty....lurved him. Can't wait for Amy's story to come out...she seems such a hoot.

You never know what book will work for you when you're sad... glad you found something.

I just finished Virtue and Vice by Megan Hart -- well-written but I had some issues with it.
