I finished Forged in Steele by Maya Banks, her newest KGI book.  It was a really good story but I was a teeny bit disappointed that SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER Steele seemed to be so emotional. In previous books he is this "iceman" type character.  It threw me a little bit.

But other than that, great read.  Next up is a Laura Griffin.

Omg....I want so badly to peek at that spoiler.  I'll refrain though.

I'm holding off on starting anything til after midnight, so it'll count for Jamie's challenge that starts tomorrow.

I think I'll be starting The Gamer Changer by J Sterling.

I am so far behind the KGI series. I got mad that she added the paranormal element and I know people say it works but I haven't been able to read that book because of it. Eventually I will get to it. Right now I am reading Harry Potter. I started Tiger Magic but I don't have time to really sit and sink into a book so I put it aside for now.

Not horror-scary, but some pretty unpleasant things happen in them.

Y'all are making me so jealous.

I read The Game Changer and didn't love it as much as I had hoped to. The first half anyway. Luckily the second half made up for a lot of my irritation with it. Now on the Strings by Kendall Grey. The reviews for this one crack me up.

maybe I'll skip the KGI series!

reading a Lisa Marie Rice ebook I've had a while - The Italian - kinda boring :-( guess this is a shorter book - around 200 pages - and all they're doing is having sex - I like a little bit of story and this story is meh - an italian judge has been practically lockd away for 3 yrs trying to bring down a mafia boss in Italy and someone lets the mafia dude know he had sex with this woman so now waiting til they 'disappear' togther..sigh...think I've burned out on LMR and she was one of my faves but couldnt' really get into one of the last trilogies she did either.

eta: finished The Italian - it was meh - too short so not much storyline (not that she ever has a lot of storyline) but the torture stuff she's famous for inserting and an abrupt ending. wasnt' a very satisfying read IMO- I like her midnight trilogy and the series she did after those best I think.

started another ebook-  50 Ways to Hex Your Lover by LInda Wisdom - not sure how I'll like it - barely started it but it's cute so far. think it was a freebie from al ong time ago - nook book.

Finished Strings and it was just insane. Definitely read the warnings before buying it, that's for sure.

I also read a pretty good m/m book, Frat House Troopers.

Forged in Steele just clicked with me for some reason. I will tell you ladies the GR's thing really through me for a loop I just don't know how to react, should I fight it, or just go find another site that just doesn't care that I have art for an avitar. and if someone complained about, just unfriend me for christ sake!!! I has a sad tonight about GRs. I read Connie Brockaway's The Other Guys Bride and it was cute. Reading Theresa Mederios The Pleasure of your Kiss. I have read quite a bit lately, just not posting.

I just finished Breathe by KA. It might be my favorite. Plus I'm getting ready for Ren and Ally's book which I think is coming out in 6 weeks.

Obviously I can't tell you what to do Keri but I think no matter what site you are on, there are going to be troublemakers.

I'm reading Lord of the Fading Lands by C. L. Wilson. I'm actually holding a real book and not my iPad.

still reading 50 Ways to Hex Your Lover by Linda Wisdom - it's ok - jumps around with a lot of stuff but my mind isn't too focused right now anyways so may as well keep reading! blush wonder if a lot of good freebis/cheapies will hit with July 4th coming up? should keep track all through the  year but seems I go in spurts! need to figure out how to backup all my ebooks and see if I can start deleting some - tired of wading through them!

eta: Rebecca I've been doing ebooks mostly for the last year or so trying to eliminate clutter(and have words Ic an see easily!) and the other day I was reading Amanda Quick's newest in hardback from the library - wast ired and caught myself barely brushing the page waitign for it to turn like on the ipad/ereader..sheesh!

I love the KGI series!  Susanna, they are awesome.  Can't wait to get my hands on Forged In Steele.  I do think the paranormal elements in the previous books work.

I am nearly done with FrankenDom by Robyn Rotham.  Not quite sure what to make of it.  I think the BDSM elements are a little too hardcore for me and then there's the whole head transplant thing.

Thanks for the heads up on the KGI. I think I'm gonna take a pass. I had already decided to skip book 1- the blurb on the back held no interest for me. Library had the next couple and I have one on the TBR I got randomly. Since 1 was a no go and I don't do paranormal, I think I'll move on.

LMR's Danger series (the latest trilogy) is just weird. I couldn't get into the first one, the second one didn't sound any better. And manufactured soldier boys in the near future? Treading a little too close to Lori Foster alien fighter territory there Lisa. Quit it.

Reading Redneck Romeo and almost done with Paris. 700 pages! It's good, but long.

Aaah....the first KGI is my fave of the series. Though, I've LOVED every single one of them.

Right now I'm reading Façade by Nyrae Dawn, and Something Different by T. Baggins. (I cant even type that name without laughing...cheeky)

Me too Missy.  Only 2 of the books have the paranormal element and it really does work.  I think my favorite is the second book, Sam's story.  Although each of them has been really good.  Can't put them down once I start reading them.

Finished off FrankenDom last night.  Still not sure about it.  Couldn't stop reading, still not liking the harsher BDSM elements.

I love the KGI books!
I have Forged In Steele waiting to be read, had to finish some review books first.

One of those was Flirting with Texas by Katie Lane.  My first by this author, but I enjoyed it.

DNF'd Yellowstone Redemption by Peggy L Henderson.  Hated the hero.  It had a lot of good reviews but I just hated his behavior toward the heroine.
