I finished Man With a Past by Jayne Ann Krentzy - an older book of hers - talk about the hero being a stalker/control freak - but still a guilty pleasure. This one was worse than usual though!

I'm kind of slogging through a 1975 Anne Mather HP, it's old school and good enough, I suppose, but I'm really in the mood for 'something else' but I'm not sure that that something else is!, you know?

I picked up my recent Rhapsody Book Club order yesterday - 9 new HCs (one backordered) (please: don't tell anyone about this on the TBR Reduction forum), couldn't resist the BOGO sale they recently had - and they all look really good).

Getting ready to finish Victor by Julia Templeton. Really good! I'll have to order Rory to be shipped next.

That's great to hear, Anne, as I have them on my TBR!

And I am finally reading a book after not reading anything for several weeks. *gasp* Chose The Perfect Play and so far I'm enjoying the book as much as the cover!

I ended up going with Shannon K Butcher's Living On the Edge and it has been surpisingly good...almost as good as *gasp* a Cindy Gerard...almost. :-)

Boyle is one of my best friend's favorite authors. I read one of her books and really enjoyed it.

I started Tara Janzen's CRAZY HOT, which is reread keeper. I've been wanting to read the series again before starting the newest book (well, not so new now - it's been out for a while). I really enjoyed the series and since I've been reading a lot of books that were requested from me, and a lot of library books I figured I'd dig into a comfort read.

Though I'm also reading #2 Orchard mystery, ROTTEN TO THE CORE/Sheila Connolly, which is a library book.

Gail - where it's danged hot & fixin' to be danged hot all week

Finished Shadowfever by KMM.  C+   Left a full review on Goodreads, but overall, I was disappointed.

Now starting on Deeper Than Midnight by Lara Adrian.

Finished The Perfect Play and while it was enjoyable and the hero was yummy, I wasn't overly enamored by the heroine.  The hero is not only hot, sexy, fit, rich, famous, healthy, but he is also intelligent, sweet, kind and every other positive thing you can think of, but the stupid wench broke it off with him over and over until I just wanted to shout at him to find someone better!  That said, the book was still hot and was a quick read.  Not sure if I will be reading the second book in the series.  Im not too keen on bad girl turned good themes.

Sherri, I was not impressed with Shadowfever either, and it was so far in between books I was totally lost in the beginning. I unfortunately bought it for my kindle and it isn't one that can be shared.

Sherri, I gave Shadowfever a higher review than you but it didn't impress me either. After five books it still felt like Moning was trying a little too hard. Most unfortunate.

Just finished Bonds of Justice (Psy-Changelings, Bk 8), and boy, am I glad that one's over. It just dragged on, and on, and on. I wasn't feeling Max and Sophie at all. Fortunately, it's been the only dud in what so far has been an outstanding series.

Getting ready to now start my Smut-a-Thon challenge, with Midnight Run (Midnight, Bk 2) by Lisa Marie Rice.

I got sidetracked and read another oldschool JAK book - and I don't recall reading this one before so a new to me book! Nightwalker. Hero nearly rapes the heroine(well forced seduction) but stops..overall I liked the couple and a touch of a mystery was there as well.

Chelsea & Cindy - it was almost like KMM didn't exactly know how she wanted it to end so she kept flip flopping back and forth.  That really irritated me.  Was she or wasn't she got old.  I liked that she ended up with Barrons - which was pretty much a given, but the whole secret he had been keeping from her in the basement? (not revealing cause its a spoiler)   I thought it was both sad and unneeded.

I'm thinking about starting Accidentally Catty by Dakota Cassidy - it's due back at the library this week and I can't renew it...busy at work though so maybe not...

Ust finished Rachel Lee's A Soldier's Homecoming. I enjoyed revisiting Conard County, just wished the book would have been longer. I felt the same way Tina...I just wanted to hit her over the head with something hard and blunt. OMGosh what woman wouldn't want a man like that.

Bonds of Justice was one of my favorites, but others in the series have been a miss for me as well.

I started Accidentally Catty but haven't really gotten into it yet - the same problem as all 4 books - Nina's mouth. I swear but this woman puts any swearer to shame - I dln't thinks he can say a sentence without 2 swear words. she writes cute otherwise though but the first book was my favorite - accidental werewolf. I've already forgotten some of the other stories esp the last one.

Midnight Run (Midnight, Bk 2) was typical formulaic, though great, LMR. Now it's on to Bonded for Eternity by Elizabeth Lapthorne.
