I finished My Fake Fiancee by Nancy Warren (Harlequin Blaze #553).  I really enjoyed it, however this is one for the list of how the front cover doesn't really match the story.  I will be looking for this author again.

Started Jill Shalvis's Strong and Sexy last night and I plan to finish it today.  I really like the story and the characters!  Shalvis has always been hit-or-miss with me and this one is a hit.  I like the whole pilot coming to the rescue thing.  Dani, the heroine, is a bit of a clutz but it isn't over done and stupid; just cute.  I would recommend.

Don't know what I'll read next.  The library is transferring 3 books for me and maybe they will arrive tomorrow.

I finished JR's Clandestine. It was a very good books. I had some slight issues with the book, but over all the book got an A from me. The review is up on GRs. Not sure what I am going to start next.

I finished Leather and Lace by Diann Mills.  Not bad.  Its a pretty emotional read.  I'd give it a B.

Now I'm attempting (again) Diana Palmer's Rogue Stallion.  I dnf'd it earlier in the year.  Thought I'd try it again to see if anything had changed.  I'm on page 78 and still underwhelmed.

ETA:  DNF'd again Rogue Stallion.   Now moving on to Lover Awakened (#3) by JR Ward

Diana, do Jill Shalvis' go in order /related characters?I think I have some of hers in my tbr somewhere.

I'm almost 1 c hapter into Ravished(believe me it's good so far and if I hadn't needed to get to sleep for night shift tonight I'd have been up reading probably til I finished!) of course it could still take a nosedive but I love her contemporary stuff(JAK) so I'm optimistic I'll like her historical..I've liked the few historicals by her I've read for sure! not wild about smugglers but oh well!

Just finished today reading the last LInda Lael Miller trilogy of the McKettrick brothers -- very enjoyable.  Now I'm leaving my fantasy world of romance and off to read a more serious book for a book club at the new bookstore that opened up nearby.  I've been on such a roll of romance that maybe it's time to take a break.

Who am I kidding?  I'll be back before you know it.

I finished MARRIED BY MORNING - Lisa Kleypas and I am thinking that I may as well go ahead and finish <sob> the Hathaway series by reading the 5th book in the series, LOVE IN THE AFTERNOON.

go for it Kelly! I hate to end a good series though..

Margaret the McKettrick brothers are pretty good? I liked the Creeds best of the ones I've read - Creeds and the other 3 McKettrick books but have these somewhere in my tbr.

still reading Ravished and work is NOT cooperating yet..I'm really thinking I need to pull out another book 'cause I think this is one I'm gonna be cranky having to put down to work! sad maybe I'll go hide out in the bathroom...

I'm REALLY enjoying SHOOFLY PIE. Once I got over the hump that he isn't a rom/susp hero and relaxed with it. He's one unique dude, if my friend hadn't come over today I very likely would have finished the book. I was really in a reading mood, too, first time in a long time that I wanted to just read, too.

Gail, once you get more of Nick's background you will understand more of why he is like he is. His mom though is awesome.

I like the bug man! The only book I didn't enjoy so much was I think the 3rd where they were in Lousiana during Katrina..that was pretty sick and not as funny IMO. I think the fu nniest scenes though are the begining of Shoofly Pie and Chop Shop!

man I wanna get back to Ravished by Amanda Quick!

Started Innocence Undone by Kat Martin. Seems kind of similar to Heartless.

Susanna -- I enjoyed the McKettrick series -- something about those cowboys that Linda Lael Miller makes so sexy and appealing.

I just finished Tessa Dare's One Dance with a Duke she is a new to me author I am getting the next two ASAP.  I see she has another series as well, I was really hoping to read a book I really could fall in love with, after a couple of stinkers  billed as Romance Suspense they had neither!     I am glad I pick up One Dance it was fun and light I liked it.

I'm reading The Duke's Wager by Edith Layton and Lost Cause by Janice Kay Johnson.  The Duke's Wager had me up late last night.  I recently read Knaves' Wager by Loretta Chase and it's an interesting comparison.  I think Chase must have had Duke's Wager in mind as the template she wanted to play with when she wrote her book.

Ooo, wish the library had that Chase. I love TDW, would be interesting to compare them.

Susanna, lol...sorry, to early this morning. Yes, that book has been a little hard to get into, because the heroine is so closed off from everybody, including the reader...lol. But I am not giving up on it, because it hasn't all been bad.

While on vacation this past week, I read 61 HOURS by Lee Child (lovvvve that Jack Reacher) and A SECRET AFFAIR by Balogh.  I found a UBS that had a 1983 copy of THIS GOLDEN VALLEY by Francine Rivers. (probably a wall banger) but since her older books are not being reprinted I bought it.  Also found TANGLED by Balogh.

Just  read Naked by Megan Hart. This one didn't seem as heavy as her other books. I read it in less than a day. I liked it a lot better than her last two Switch and Deeper. You do get a peek at  the lives of previous h/h.  Dirty is still my all time favorite by her. I just connected to that book.
