I'm finishing up the Jeannienne Frost story in _Haunted by Your Touch_. Pretty good. Not sure I'll bother with the other two -- I don't like Shayla Black and have never heard of the other one. Perhaps I'll give her a try just to see.

I'm thinking I may DNF Karen Rose's _Did You Miss Me?_ It's just not grabbing me and I'm tired of her characters all having massive amounts of backstory, piled on top of the backstories from the previous books!

I finished Secrets Exposed by Lisa Renee Jones and am now halfway through Beneath the Secrets.

I also read an erotic short story...Bought By the Billionaire Brothers by Alexx Andria.

I dnf'd Sharon Hamilton's new SEAL book.  Two of them actually, because I gave her a second shot thinking maybe it was just me.  Nope.  Horrible editing as well.

I got Forged in Steele by Maya Banks in the mail yesterday.  Had to finish the whole thing last night before I went to bed.  Loved it!!!

Today, I'm on to The Ultimate Kink by Cameron Dane.

I finished Beneath the Secrets. It was probably my fave of that series.

I have no idea what's going to be up next.

crap just realized I have one of those SEAL books..hope it was a free one..probably was - I'm a sucker for free and 99 cts..did buy some 'collections' for 99 cts - marriage of convenience and bodyguards It hink were the themes..each has 4 stories seems like and I recognized a few of the authors.

still reading Dark Magic and as curious as I am about a couple more Carpathians getting lifemates this is about my limit  - I HATE that the males have so much control over the females and all this darkness...want to finish this one then get back to My Dearest Enemy though I may read that one during lunch break here at work instead of the dark stuff...dunno! also have 2 mysteries I want to get to that are library ebooks...

I just got back from a beach vacation, during which I read three very angsty books: On Every Street and Sins & Needles by Karina Halle (FYI, if you read these, you MUST read On Every Street first); and Strangers by Barbara Elsborg, which was a 5-star read for me...loved it! Her dry British humor made the book for me.

I think up next will be At Peace by KA.

I read Sins and Needles first, since it was out first, and LOVED it. Then I read On Every Street when it came out and LOVED it too. I liked that I read them in that order. I don't think I would have looked at things the same way if I hadn't.

I'm going to start Forged in Steele tonight. Woot!!!

Lol, see, I don't think I would have looked at things the same way if I hadn't read Street first. Guess it's all in the perspective. But I think knowing "Eden's" backstory helped me understand her actions better in Sins.

LOL!  I love that book.

Yesterday I read Hollowland by Amanda Hocking.  I liked it but I didn't love it, plus it ended in a cliffhangar.

I would almost think I was in a reading slump except All Necessary Force (thriller) by Brad Taylor is amazing and I knocked out From This Moment On by Bella Andre in a day and they were good, so I must just be hitting a row of bad books. Clubhouse Confidential by Luis Castillo is a book about the Yankees by a former bat boy. Let me tell you, if you are going to have a chapter on Derek Jeter, there had better be some talk of his social life. A-Rod? Madonna had better be in there somewhere. But no, it was like he wrote it afraid of getting sued. DNF. And then there was a freebie called Lock, Stock, and Barrel. I like my smut, but I read a lot of other things too. I'm good with Christian fiction, but not when there are 5 mentions of God and praying in the first 7 pages. DNF.

Getting ready to start Timeless Desire by Gwyn Cready.

I'm more than halfway through Forged in Steele and freakin LOVIN it.

I did also finish a novella by Marie Kelly, Kidnapped the Wrong Sister. Omg...how unbelievably bad it was. I cant even imagine why I didn't DNF it.

Finished Stephanie Lauren's Where The Heart Leads and I loved Barnaby and Stokes cannot wait for the next book in that series. It will be a part of the Cynster series, but in a trilogy from the investigative files for Barnaby and Stokes. Romance with mystery...my fav. Currently reading Dan Brown's Inferno. In case I didn't mention, I also read Carr's The Newcomer and as long as you are just looking for women's fiction with a romantic thread then you will enjoy it more then if you are looking for a straight contemporary romance. I enjoyed it, I just didn't love it like I do the VR series.

Was a DNF for me.   I thought it was really dumb.

I'm reading Perfect For You by Kate Perry and also still reading Inside by Brenda Novak.

Ugh, the only excuse I have is that I didn't want to waste the time I had already invested in it since I'm in the middle of a challenge.  Dang it was awful though.

still reading My Dearest Enemy - cute but got out of my zone when I went to the carpathian book and now had to download the nxt one to get julian's story - hate that I'm so stuck on this series when som uch about it bothers me...oh well! revies for later books say more comes out about the carpathian women so I'm curious about that - gregori seemed too powerfl and controlling for Savannah..I felt sorry for her then I felt sorry for him with her trying to help him fight!
