Finished off the Jaci Burton I've been working on.  Now, not sure what to start.  Leaving on vacation on Thursday but I'm not taking erotica paper books along with me since it's a family vacation.  Don't want to be in the middle of one when I leave.  I might try an anthology since the stories are shorter.

I think I'll take along a Shannon McKenna book and then my ereaders.  Plus chargers for both and for the laptop and the cellphone.  Ugh, there should just be a universal charger that'd charge it all so I don't have to haul a bunch of extra stuff with me to keep everything going.

Freefall.   It's pretty good but I haven't had much time to read this week so it's been slow going.

ETA: finished.  Solid B.  A little too much romsusp for me and not enough romance.

Yesterday I read His Brother's Wife by Lily Graison.  Can't say I'd recommend it.  Everyone in the book needed a spanking, and not the good kind.  blush

Dying to read Rock Chick Revolution, but B&N has a "major system outage" and my pre-order isn't available.  I've read the "free sample" at Amazon for now, but it's not enough!!!!  I'm completely frustrated.

I'm reading Rock Chick Revolution right now and I'm about halfway through. So far it. Is. Awesome. That totally sucks about B & N.

Not sure what to read. My HP is boring me, but I don't feel ready for a review book yet.  Guess I will pick a nice quick novella.

Susanna, I find you can keep a library book longer if you don't turn the Wifi on on your ereader.  I've done that once or twice when I just wasn't able to finish the book in time.

Susanna, which device were you reading it on? With some of them, as long as you don't turn your wifi on, the book will not disappear.

Ok a warning....I got this book I preordered on Monday or Tuesday and started reading it right away. Her Ladyship's Curse (Disenchanted & Co., Book 1, Part #1) by Lynn Viehl.

Well I guess I should have known that part one means you only get HALF a story. I am so mad, though. I cancelled my pre-order of part 2. I don't like serials, and I don't like PARTS of stories, either. I don't know if I will ever bother to finish it, even though I like the author.

Reading something similar but much better now (Better because it's a WHOLE story) called The Greyfriar by Clay & Susan Griffith. Steampunk alternate history, so maybe this will get the bad taste out of my mouth.

My free kindle lending book of the month is Darkness Rising by Elissa Wilds, not very good, don't know if I'll finish it.

Also reading a novella, How Green This Land, How Blue This Sea (Newsflesh Trilogy #3.5) by Mira Grant. Which so far, is frankly boring. But I'll slog on. Surely some good parts will rise.

I finished RC Revolution and now I'm reading The Darkest Craving by Showalter. I just love those Lords of the Underworld.

I find that if I stay in the expired ebook, I can keep reading -- however, if I try to change *anything*, even the font size, the expiration will kick in. This is true for Nook Touch and Kobo Mini.

I'm catching up on shorts so I can feel productive. Reading the second Magnus Bane story right now, The Runaway Queen. Read The Scandolous Dissolute No Good Mr Wright yesterday -- I've gone off Tessa Dare, but it was kind of offbeat and enjoyable.

you know I figured if I didn't make any changes and kept reading the library ebook maybe i'd luck out but forgot about the wifi - don't have it at work so no problem but at home I do and I've never turned mine off...heck didn't know I could LOL but I do now! thanks! actually my turn came up for the same book at another library so now I'm partway through 3 books - that carpathian book, chocolate thief, and a mystery that's pretty good....

I always keep Wifi off on my Nook unless I need it.  Saves on the battery for sure!

I started Beyond The Clouds by Opal Carew last night.  Well, I think it's been re-issued as Virgin Wanted.  Anyway, not her best work but enjoyable.

I keep wifi off on all mine, too.

Finished How Green This Land, How Blue This Sea. Pretty dull.

Plowing through the Greyfriar. Interesting. But gotta pick a romance next.

I did start Rogue's Mistress, but I also started John Lescroart's The Ophelia Cut. I need to lay off the romance for a bit,  as my suspense pile is getting huge!
