I finished Unattainable and it was freaking awesome.

Now to figure out how to follow it up...

I have never particpated in anything at Goodreads. I only use it as my web based book list.

I'm reading Annihilate Me by Christina Ross. I'm actually on vol. 3.

Had to take a break from some of the darker books I had started so I read Breathe by Abbi Glines this weekend, and like all her books, it was good, not great (pleasant may be a good way to describe it).

Good to hear about Unattainable (being released early and being awesome). I may read that at the end of the week when I have a little more time to devote to it. Undeniable was one of my favorites.

I read a short erotic story, Haunted House of Pleasure. Only just under 30 pages. It was quick and fun.

Now I think I'm going to start an ebook loaner, Zombie Boyz, a m/m anthology.

I has a sad for Goodreads...and hate the new policy and it is no longer a safe place for readers and reviewers. Soon will just be calling them Amazon jr. *sigh* Currently reading Captain Jack and finished Sharon Sala's Going Once and it was ok.

I finished Larissa Ione's latest. Did not like it, not looking forward to reviewing it. :-(

I finished Annihilate Me and just a warning, the 3 books are more like novellas than full length books. I liked it but mainly because I liked Jennifer, the lead female.

Now I'm about to start Very Bad Things by Ilsa Madden-Mils. I hope it's as good as the reviews have said.

I must be out of the loop...what's going on over at Goodreads?

I finished the entire In the Air series by R.K. Lilley. Loved it. Even though James was borderline psychotic.

Currently reading Kristen Ashley's Sweet Dreams and really liking it. (as long as I don't think about the non editing.)

I haven't done Goodreads - signed up but haven't updated any shelves or anything...

reading a light romance - The Rosetti Cursey by Tina Russo. she writes christian romance for Love Inspired under Tina Radcliffe - so far haven't seen anything indicating this is a christian romance- it's been clean though so far so I'm not expecting any steam LOL! liking the cuteness of it so far.

Judgment in Death by JD Robb came up at library's overdrive- it's the last paperback I was reading and stopped mainly because print books have too tiny print - have to transfer to my kindle via usb which hopefully will be less painful than trying to transfer epub to my kobo or nook :-(

Instead of reading one of the books I previously started, I chose AL Jackson's new one, If Forever Comes. So far, I'm loving it. Like all her books, very emotional.

Uh oh, what happened at GR?  I too am out of the loop, but can't find anything that has changed.  Info please?  Link, whatever?

I started Law Man but haven't gotten very far in yet.  I'm not too sure about this heroine, though.  It bugs me when a female character has self esteem that is in the toilet and only feels better about herself when some hot guy thinks she is worthy of him.  KA seems to write quite a few of those: Jet, Ava, Tess...I could stomach those, but this one?  gives a mental 10 point rating to everyone she meets, and only rates herself a 2.5.  Blechh!  Of course she's going to score herself a guy who's a 14 out of 10, because unbeknownst to her, she is not really a 2.5 like she thinks, but more like a 9.5.  Oh please.  Well, I'm reading this because I liked Mitch a lot from the first book, and I hope I don't end up pissed off that he gets with a woman who's an idiot.

Lesley, "Gramazon" decided to arbitrarily DELETE member shelves they deemed questionable or harassing towards authors - with NO notice to the shelf owner. Those reviews and book catalogs are just gone. In my opinion, 1 star reviews are next.  I will only be giving starred reviews on GR from now on - just using it to catalog my reads.  I did set up an account at BookLikes for reviews if anyone would like to friend me there: http://sherrilovestoread.booklikes.com/

Just about done with my re-read of A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

Thanks Sherri- I checked out Willa's blog and followed the links, and I can see what you mean about it being disturbing!  Considering some of the atrocious behaviour we've seen from some authors toward reviewers in the past, it's sad that people can't even catalog books by authors that they want to avoid now.  Are they being just as vigilant at protecting members from the wrath of authors who don't like getting anything but a 5 star review?  Ughh.  I have a few 1-star reviews, as well as a DNF shelf- if they stop allowing those, I don't know how they'll keep members anymore.

I'm nearly done with Zoe's Gift by Jory Strong.

I don't think I'm reading any ebooks at the moment which is unusual.  I can't remember the last time I only had 1 book I was reading.  I should probably rectify that soon.

I finished Very Bad Things by Ilsa Madden-Mills and it was fantastic. It was so good I got very cranky when my needy children wanted things like food and help with homework. It's a good thing not all books are like that or I would have malnourished children who would flunk out of first and third grade.

I'm not sure what's up next, I need to read something in my tbr and stop buying books.

That sucks about Goodreads.  I never joined but I do hate it when a site tries to censor honest reviews.  If I think a book sucks, I want to be able to say so without my review being taken down because some fangirl or author decides they don't want to see a negative review about their book.  I hate Amazon reviews for that reason.

Finished Sweet Dreams and loved it so much that I went and grabbed Lady Luck and fighting with myself over starting it right now...but I want to so bad. What makes me mad is I know that I had Breathe in the series on one of my readers, but now I can't find it. I had bought the 2nd Rock Chick (Rescue...I think) book via Kobo, but when I opened it, it was RC Revenge so I went to Kobo's customer service and they were like...what are you getting so upset about, you want a credit or you want a refund...well noooo...what I want is the book I ordered and she said she couldn't tell me when it would be corrected. So beware ladies if you don't see a cover for a book, the content behind may not be what it is suppossed to be.

Finished If Forever Comes and thought it was great. I'm reluctant to say I loved it because some of it was really painful to read. But I loved Christian and Elizabeth from AL Jackson's previous books and had to see how they ended up.
