I'm reading a love inspired by brenda minton(one of my fave LI authors) and the first chesapeake diaries book by mariah stewart - coming home I think is the title.

saw some new blaze and LI's in wally world but they're not available for kindle til jul 1 - don't think it's right they can sell books early but not ebooks. I know harlequin sells them early from their site but I'd have to charge up  my  nook and do the transfer thing with harlequin which I hate. luckily I still have plenty to read!

I just finished Cruise's Tell Me Lies. Interesting and light - a good read. Not sure what to do next. Maybe a movie tonight...

I'm reading Wrangled and Tangled (Blacktop Cowboys #3) by Lorelei James and I really feel like I'm missing a lot.  I didn't read book 2 in the series and there are times when I know I am missing things.  Oh well; it's okay, not one of her best.  I am eagerly anticipating the next installment of her McKay ranchers, due out Tuesday on Kindle.

I dnf'd Summer Days.  Hated to do it, because I generally love Mallery's books, but this one was just too far outside of believability for me.  I started Friday Mornings at 9 by Marilyn Brant, an NTM author.  Not too sure about it yet..only in a couple of chapters.  It's about 3 women who explore the concept of "what if" they hadn't married their husbands..where would they be/what would they do.  A topic that could be done well, or not well, and I am not sure where this one stands for me yet.  In any case, I'm making progress on my TBR, and that's good news- it was getting out of control!

finished the Love Inspired I was reading - liked it - and got back to Almost Home which I'm hoping to get more into. This is a new to me author and I'm hoping I enjoy her. also havea mystery and another mystery series from the library - not sure I'll finish the first mystery - it hasn't grabbed me yet but I'll give it another shot. the other series is set around knitting which I recently kinda sorta got into

I'm reading through Barbara Bretton's "Sugar Maple Chronicles" series - finished #3 yesterday. Is this the series you're trying to get into?

Finished Enoch's Always a Scoundrel and it was a good read and a good ending to that trilogy. Loved the ending, one of my favorite kind. Taking a break from romance and reading Jeff Deaver's The Edge.

Gail the mystery I started is in the magical dressmaking series - book #2 - read book #1 for a challenge. the other series is black sheep knitting I think. I haven't started that one yet. I was reading maggie sefton's series earlier but the main sleuth got on my nerves too much. happens a lot with cozies- the crochet mystery sleuth is even worse - and the tea shop ones I read mainly for the tea stuff.

Okay - started Seduction and Scandal by Charolette Featherstone. First ten pages were definitely not what I was expecting...dancing with Death. Huh. lol

DNF'd Spider-Touched (Ghostland World, Bk 2) by Jory Strong. I guess it could have been a good story but to me the story jumped around too much. I had trouble keeping up with what was going on. Too much effort.

Now reading Love's Fortress by Samantha Kane, love this series.

Lesley, I wasn't able to finish Summer Days either - not only was it too far out of the realm for me, but I didn't like the characters either. Her older books were good, but the last few Fool's Gold have been terrible.

I finished the latest in Mariah Stewart's Cheapeake Diaries series this weekend...for as good as the last one was, this one was just sooo sloooowwww moving! I wasn't a fan of the heroine either, so that made it tough. I liked the interaction between Clay and Wade more than between Clay and Lucy! Regardless, I like the series enough to be excited about the next one.

I have gone back to reading some Linda Howard mysteries, but I have Jill Shalvis's newest Lucky Harbor book to read, so I think I'll end up back in that genre by the end of the week...

Finished Scanalous Desires -- definitely the best of the series! I liked that it wasn't just sex sex sex. Now on Thief of Shadows -- would prefer to wait a bit, but I owe a review.
