I love this book--it answers so many interesting questions. Question that have always been in the back of my mind... It is written in a very easy manner, with a good deal of humor mixed in. Each entry is only 2-4 pages long so it's very easy to digest. Even those things I never thought I would be interested (19th century Russian composers!) are presented in a stimulating way. Highly recommend as a good ready reference book for any shelf and a good read too!
