I like to try to keep up with the book bazaar.  I will occasionally post, but usually am looking for good deals.  Well, I posted on the "August Wishlisted books with different ISBN #'s" to list the ones I had.  That was a while ago.  Today, I offerred a few "bundle deals".  This is something new for me.  I have never done the "bundle" deal thing before.  In my thread though, I specifically stated that if anyone was interested in a deal, to PM me and to leave a note in the thread.  Well, 2 of my books have been requested by two different people.  Both of these books were posted on the "wishlisted with different ISBN's" but they were also part of two different bundles.  I didn't get a PM from either one saying that they were ordering in order to get the bundle I was offerring.  Nor did either one leave a note on my thread.  So, I think I should just send the one book that has been requested to each of them, but my husband says I should send them the bundles.  What would you do?

Ok, I see a lot of people looking, but no one answering!  Please help me out here!

I would PM them and ask them if they want the bundle deal or if they just want the one book.  It may be people ordering from the FIFO and they don't know that you are running a deal.  If you don't get any answer, then just send the one book.

I think it just depends how generous you feel at the moment.  :)  If you feel generous and want to get rid of some books, PM them, otherwise like LG said I'd just assume they ordered from the FIFO and didn't know about the deal so no big deal!

I suspect that since you didin't get a PM or a reply in your thread, these requests came out of the FIFO system, and that it was coincidence that you got two requests right after posting in the Bazaar.

You could PM the requestor, who may or may not know about your Bazaar offer.  But if you do, I strongly recommend saying in your PM something like:  "If I don't hear from you by X date and time, I will mail the single book."

Ok, I've decided to only send out the individual books.  I've also added in my bundle thread that if you do not PM me, you will only get the one book that is ordered.  That's not asking too much, is it?  I never have a problem PM-ing and leaving a note in the thread of the person who is offerring a deal.

Thanks for the replies,

Renae

very true, if they want the bundle they should know to PM you and you told them to do it as well.

I had a deal running sometime back, and the person obviously did the FIFO route.  I PMd her to let her know that I was running a xxx for xxxx deal and if she was interested to let me know her choice/s.  She thanked me and did pick up on my deal.  I'd PM the person (giving them a deadline about answering) and if no answer, just send the one book.

I felt it was important to let her know about it.  Just MHO.  Pat

I tried what Pat mentioned several times, gave the member a date etc and if I didn't hear from them by that time I would only send the 1 book. Several times members sent me a PM wanting to know if I already mailed the book and wanted the deal after the date. If they would have checked the books that were already mailed they wouldn't have to ask that question. I felt bad that they missed out but I wasn't going to spend money on postage again for a free book. Anyway, I stopped PM in this situation to avoid all the hassle. It's great if people check their mail everyday but no one knows that they will.

It's a super nice gesture to let someone know about the deals.  I had a wonderful member that told me about a deal she was running when I just ordered a  book I wanted from the system, and ended up getting three lovely books for my credit.  Still think that was a very generous and kind thing for that member to do.  (Because I'd had no previous knowledge of their ongoing deal...)
