I just received the first one in this series and am getting ready to start reading it.  If you have read it - what did you think?

I've only read the 3rd. I won it in a swap game and decided to read it before I got more of the series in case I didn't like it. It was very entertaining and a great read. Reminded me of the Queen Betsy series by MJ Davidson, without the airheadedness

I have the series but haven't read it yet.  I heard they were quite funny so I am looking forward to reading the series.

i read the first one, and then reposted the rest without reading them.  it wasn't bad exactly, but i just didn't find it funny or the main characters very interesting and couldn't see spending more time with them.  but i definitely seem to be in the minority on this.  :)

I've read the 1st three...they are okay.  There are much better series out there though.

It's one of my favorite series.  I have to admit that when I read the first book, I thought it was just OK.  There were a lot of things I liked about the series, but the talking dog got on my nerves.

But I already had the second book on hand, so I kept reading - and the second book hooked me on the series.  Primarily, I really love the heroine of the series - Glory.   She's such a mensch!

I've read the first. I thought it was OK. Not the best series, but still entertaining. I am waiting on the rest of the series.

I liked the talking dog. :) Glory wavering between 'protect me darn it' to 'leave me alone, I'm strong on my own' annoyed me.

I didn't care for it.  When the second one came in the mail, I had just finished the first one.  I opened the second one, checked that it was ok, and sent it out to the next wisher.  I have so many books through PBS now that I just don't want to spend the time reading something that is just "eh..ok".

I read the first, but it was a chore for me to get through it.  Didn't bother with the rest of the series.  Different books for different folks.

I really like this series.  I liked it from the first book, but the series has gotten better as it goes.

Who is the author of this series? Sounds like something I might like. :-)

I enjoyed the whole series thus far.  I think that if you enjoy humor and chick lit kind of books then you will enjoy the Glory books.  If your into more dark and serious stuff then this series will probably be annoying.

This series is written by Gerry Bartlett.  I have enjoyed the book so far but I do enjoy the lighter, funny stuff so that might be why.

I like both the light and the serious stuff.

Wasn't much impressed with it. Stopped reading them after the second one.
