I'm reading My Fair Godmother!  I read the Short Second Life of Bree Tanner yesterday.  It was cute.

I'm reading My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares and it is very good!  Not YA, of course, but very good.

Jacki, I liked Bree more than I liked Bella at the beginning.  I guess I say cute in the "that's nice" kind of way.  I didn't love it, but didn't hate it either.

I with you, Jacqueline.  I just can't help it.  I have so many wonderful, wishlisted books here in my house, and I still re-read Twilight at least once a year, if not more.

I finished Beautiful Creatures. I wanted to like it because I like the mythology of stories like that, but I didn't really like the characters or root for them. And the whole time I was reading it I was setting myself up for a trilogy/sequel, I could just tell. The ending was too abrupt/not explained for me. I HATE when mediocre books have sequels, I just want to know why it all happened without having to read it. :/

I keep hearing people say that, which is why I have yet to read Beautiful Creatures....  it has been on my bookshelf for quite some time now....

Tiny was a TERRIFIC character....  I think I wrote I heart Tiny in my book journal...  I'll have to check....  "I heart Tiny Cooper!"  Yep....

I am reading JUMP right now...  I really am enjoying the story, but I think that I would LOVE the book more overall if I had a basic knowledge of rock climbing and the equipment used.....

I'm almost ready to start a new book and I believe it is going to be Perfect Chemistry, so I can send it off to Debbie.

Lacy, I made one for YA books.  It's called YA Books You Are Looking Forward to Reading.

OK, if you liked Ocean's 11 at all, even a little bit, you will really enjoy Heist Society!  Instead of George Clooney, it has a teenage girl, and her gang are also young people, but it's along the same lines.  VERY good!

I'm starting Jekel and Hyde next.

Continuing my Sarah Dessen thing, I'm now reading Just Listen.  I'm only in the third chapter, but I'm pretty sure I know why Annabel is on the outs with everyone...

I finished My Fair Godmother last night.  It wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but it was cute and funny.

I started Wherever Nina Lies.

I went to a park and read today (and then I went to Starbucks at sat at one of their outside tables and read some more) so I'm now about halfway through Just Listen.  I'm enjoying it just as much as I did Lock and Key.  I like that all of Dessen's books take place in the same town so you start to get to know the landmarks (Kopf's Department Store, Jackson High School, etc.).

Britney if you read the books in order then you get little easter egg tidbits about characters in past books. Like in Lock and Key the characters from Just Listen are mentioned like 3 or 4 times, which you might not have picked up on since you read it later. All the books are like that. It's pretty neat that she calls back her older characters as a throwback to the fans.
