It's July already! Hope you all have time to read lots of YA books :-)

Just finished Where She Went and liked it alot, maybe better than the first one (boy point of view always goes to the top).

I just read The Fox Inheritance by Mary Pearson.  It was a good read, not as good as I remember The Adoration of Jenna Fox being though.

Changed my horror choice to Dracula in Love by Karen Essex which I really enjoyed.  Essex explores the changing roles of women in society at that time in contrast to traditional roles.  While I couldn't get into Dracula by Bram Stoker when I tried to read it earlier this year Essex makes me want to pick it up again and get on with it.  Very good read.

Not reading a lot of YA lately. Reading Desperate Times right now. It's definitely depressing...

Me too, Colleen.  I've been a True Blood/Sookie Sackhouse mood myself, but just finished  Flash Burnout while I'm waiting for book 5 to get here.  It was GREAT, though Im not 100 percent satisfied w/the ending, but that is just me.  Now I'm reading A&L Do Summer.  Not 10 pages in yet, so will see how it is.

I caught up on the Soul Screamer series on my honeymoon last week.  I read My Soul to Steal, If I Die, My Soul to Lose, and Reaper.  As usual, I enjoyed them all!  Now on to Frost by Wendy Delsol

I finished Fairy Tale by Cyn Balog.  I really liked it.  I didn't think I'd like it as much as I did.  Now.  I'm reading Kissing Booth by Lexie Hall.

while E was trying fencing last Thursday, there was a library in the same community center, so I picked up PASSION by Lauren Kate...not really sure if I was going to read it or try to get the audiobook like the previous 2...well, sitting for her trial, I read the first 80 pages, and today I finished it... after NOT reading all weekend but then reading for 4 hours at the swimming pool yesterday.  I enjoyed this FAAAAR more than the 2nd book which I thought was AWFUL....

Listening to FALLING UNDER by Gwen Hayes on audio now and trying to finish WHERE THE TRUTH LIES by Jessica Warman...

Just finished A&L Do Summer - it was funny and cute.  Loved Sammy the Skunk.  Now I'm reading Just Listen by Sarah Dessen.

I read Finnikin of the Rock while on vacation and it was amazing.  Really cool world and great characters.

I also read Demonglass and it was okay.

I am now reading Throne of Fire, the next Kane Chronicles book.  It's good, though I don't like this series as much as Percy Jackson.

Just finished the original Percy Jackson series followed by the first book in new Olympus series, The Lost Hero. Going to start Riordan's Egyptian series next. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite YA authors.

read THE DAY BEFORE last night.  I thought something different for Cade so I was a bit disappointed in that aspect, but the story moved quickly and I enjoyed it...  Not quite as depressing as her other ones.

Halfway through Hold Me Closer, Necromancer right now.  It took a long time for me to get into it, but I think I've finally invested myself enough to actually enjoy the story.

I hope this dont make me sound weird ,but I just read " The boys next door" by Jennifer Echols. I really liked it,it was a cute ,funny read.

My daughter got it from the library ,I wasent planning on reading it. When she was finished I picked it up was just going to look through it,well I ended up reading it and liked it.

Emily was looking at me strange and asked ' Why are you reading that" ? maybe because it has a cartoon cover..
