I'm reading Cat Clarke's newest book TORN. It's not released in the U.S. yet so I had to get it from the U.K. I'm liking it so far.

Val--I enjoyed Lone Wolf!  I think some people might find it a little boring since there is so much wolf talk, but the medical aspect hit close to home since right after Christmas, one of my closest friends had to deal with the same issues.  But there is the typical twist (which lately in her books I have seen coming, but not this one) and then of course in the last few pages before the epilogue, I was in tears.

I am now starting Miracle by Elizabeth Scott

I'm back to listening to CHIME....  I"m determined to finish it once and for all.  I STILL haven't a clue what it's supposed to be about either...  and i'm on disc 5 of 8.

I just finished Miracle.  It was okay but I'm figuring out that I never really care about Elizabeth Scott's character, even though I always want to!

Jenna Fox was better than the Fox Inheritance, IMHO.  I really enjoyed Jenna Fox.  I didn't care for Wasserman's Skinned series which is a similar concept nearly as much.

Finished CHIME yesterday FINALLY and have to say it was horrible.  Don't know why it got selected as a Boston nominee.  Then again, the original book that was mentioned before Chime, Shine by Lauren M. was just as awful.  Oh well..  Finishing up LENOBIA'S VOW on audio today.  It's ok.

Val - thanks, I didn't know there was another one.  I don't think I would care enough to read that.  Jenna Fox was good but I guessed where it was going in the first fe wpages you know?  But it was an intertaining quick little read!

Fox Inheritance is the boy's view....her friend that was in the computer limbo...  Can't think of his name at the moment.  But both of the 2 friends are regenerated in the future...

I finished Nightmare Garden by Catilin Kittredge this morning.  It's the second book in the Iron Codex series.  Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but the mushiness between Dean and Aoife seemed forced at times.  I couldn't really understand the attraction between the two.

Hey Melissa ,   yep  I read Thoughtless..I like the Idea of the story with her falling for the rock star ( Kellan was soo hot..lol) and Denny so sweet.

That said ,Kiera drove me crazy. constantly leading Kellan on , not making up her mind. I felt like the book was a little too long. repeating her feelings over and over

But , as you said in one of the threads , I had to read Effortless ( which I'm doing now) to see what happens....LOL

Val - I'm starting Chime for the reading challenge (I already read Blink & Caution last year in that category. I did like that one.) so let's see if I dislike it as much as you :)

It took me 2 weeks to finish the Iron Queen - I liked it, but it was just sloooooooow reading for me. On the other hand, Saturday I picked up Wither (Chemical Garden, bk 1) and am almost finished already.  I'm really liking it and can't put it down.  I didn't even know the second book in the series is out yet, but I'm happy to see that it is.

I read Legend over the weekend.  I liked it but thought it was too short!  I wanted more story.  I think I've read too many long books recently and am expecting epic-ness too much now. :)

I'm reading Hallowed now.  It's interesting.  I am not in a paranormal mood right now, but I wanted to read it for the Non Human Protagonist category for the challenge.

I finished Chime. I think Eldric was my favorite character too, Val. I kind of liked the book but I can see why some people don't. It has a strange narration and is a bit hard to follow at times. But I did like the overall message of the story.

I think I'm going to start on Why We Broke Up now...
