I loved The Necromancer. Of course, it leaves us with a huge cliff hanger. But I've come to expect that with books nowadays. ARGH! I am starting Magyk by Angie Sage next.

I finished I Am Number Four.  I liked it, but it could have been a lot better.  The premise was interesting but the execution was lacking at times.  The characters were a little flat and the book is slow in parts.

I also read Holes this weekend.  I liked it a lot!  I don't know why I hadn't read it before.

Now I am reading One Night That Changes Everything.

I was inspired to try YA after reading some of the things people were saying about the books on the forums.  I picked up a copy of The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima.  I love it.  I got it yesterday and haven't been able to put it down.

I finished One Night That Changes Everything.  It was really cute.  I was annoyed by Clarice's Southern stereotypes.  It made me feel like the author has never actually been to the South and might actually think Southerners are a completely different species.  (Maybe we are! wink) I was waiting for Clarice to bust out with "Well, bless my soul!  I've never heard of such things back at Tara!"

Now I am reading Della Says: OMG which is angsty and British, two of my favorite things.

I read Almost To Die For by Tate Halloway. I liked it. Not real deep but more of a fun book.

Now I'm reading Inifinite Days by Rebecca Maizel

I re-read The Hunger Games and Catching Fire, and then finally got to Mockingjay! SO much happened in that book I'm still not sure how I feel about it!! Moving on to Guardian of the Gate next.

OK...  I've made it to page 115 in Sunshine, and I cannot take anymore of it...  this book is SO slow... and there are things talked about that makes it feel like we should have some prior knowledge that we DON'T have....  maybe I'm missing out on something here, but I quit with this one...  which is EXTREMELY rare for me as I am very OCD about stuff and leaving an unfinished book drives me INSANE...  I've only done this with one other book in the last two years...  and that was Uglies...

Moving on to something else...........  I'm thinking Stalker Girl!

Katie--one of my friends at work just told me that she just read Hunger Games and loved it.  I may need to get that book next--she was raving about it all through lunch.

Okay I have been inspired--I added Hunger Games to my wish list.  Although I may have to keep my eye on my local used bookstore because it seems to be very popular here on PBS.

And I just have to share that I found the last in the Warrior Heir series at my local used bookstore and I am so excited!!  So I get to move through all three of them.  So far the first one is awesome.  I think I will have it done by the end of the weekend.  :)

I finished Looking For Alaska last night - really liked it and started the long awaited Mockingjay.  I'm kicking myself that I didn't go back and reread the first 2, but I don't even have them anymore so I can't lol.  Hopefully it will all come back to me.  I am dying to open Jenna's spoiler thread and participate.

Last night I discovered my roommate is hiding a copy of Mockingjay in her room...meanie.  She wouldn't even know about the series if I hadn't given her the first one!
