I had ordered a book from someone (won't mention any names in the forum) and when I received it, I was very disappointed, as the book was falling apart and should have never been posted for a point.  I have sent a pm to the person that had sent the book to me but I haven't heard anything back yet.  I am a bit disappointed, as I am now out 2 points (the one that I spent and the one that I could have gotten for reposting the book when I was finished with it).  Is there any recourse that I can take if the person never contacts me and tries to make it right?

Did you come right out and ask for your credit back?  If not, you need to ask.  I also make sure to let the sender know what exactly was wrong with the book too and how that voilates the posting books policy.

If they don't respond at all, you can send feedback in to R & the team about it.  The other person needs to at least respond to your request even if they don't want to refund your credit.

You need to mark it received with a problem and ask for your credit back.  They won't be forced to give you credit back but hopefully they will. Marking RWP helps get problem senders out of PBS.

If your PM clearly asked for a reply and you don't hear back within a week, the admin team appreciates it if you let them know.  Go up to the Help Center and click on "Contact the PBS team."  They won't try to figure out who is right & who is wrong in a dispute, but they're really big on communication, and will step in when one party isn't responding to a polite PM.
