This morning, on my way to work, I heard an interview with an author of a Tudor book.  Imagine my surprise when she said, "The first Tudor King was, of course, Henry VIII"

Can you imagine me shouting at the radio as I drove along?

That's one book off my reading list.

Maybe she's baseing her statement on those who feel Henry-7's claim is shaded by his illegitimacy and maternal descent?
