I requested two books from a member.  Yesterday, she sent me two emails (one for each book), stating that she had mailed them both over a week ago and to let her know right away when they arrived.  So, I told her I would, then checked my account and saw that one of the books wasn't marked mailed until March 18th, and the other is still sitting as "accepted-printed."  So I wrote back and told her that one had just been mailed the day before and the other was still sitting and if she mailed it she needed to mark it as such.  Haven't heard anything since and it's still sitting as not mailed.  Thoughts?  The emails were odd, considering the circumstances.

I would do nothing else.

The ball is in her hands.

I agree it was odd, but there really is no more you can do.

I would ignore any reminders to mark the books received.

Did you confirm that the active orders are with her? Its possible (I'd lean toward likely) that both have already rolled to other members and she PMed you because her transactions were cancelled. If that is the case and you have new transactions, you are not obligated to give her credits if you receive 2 copies of a book. You can if you want to (you do it through the Transaction Archive).

Similar to the others, this is in her court.
But I'd be a bit nicer about it than suggested.  Just PM back with what you saw.
I don't think I've ever mailed multiples, so I'm probably one who might miss to mark the second book as 'mailed.'

My thought is was Melanie said: she forgot to mark them mailed and went into her transaction archive to message you.  If it's too late to cancel the new orders than you don't have to give her a credit if you end up with 2 copies. Once a sender has accessed the address or marked a book mailed, it's too late for the requester to cancel.

Both are at the point where you can no longer cancel the "rolled over" orders.  It sounds like she failed to mark them mailed in time, and you will be receiving two copies of each book.

You are not required to mark the cancelled order received.  You are required to mark the second, active copy, as received.  Please carefully check the return address when you receive your books.

If she would like an explanation of what happened, and the suggested wording to use when contacting the requestor, you can tell her there is a help doc with a good explanation:

My transaction was canceled but I already mailed the book
