Name your favorites of the series AND the ones you didn't like. I've just read books 3 and 4 (Stanley's and Kenny's and I LOVED them). I have 5 others ahead but still haven't gotten my hands on books 1 and 2. Anyway - tell us about your favs etc...

I've only read 3 and my faves were Kenny and Savannah's (my fave couple!) and can't remember the title and the one where Sam and Alyssa get together (again!) when he goes to his ex-wife's house and there's a dead body and all that stuff is going on. I think my least fave people (so whatever books they're in LOL) are that FBI head honcho Max? and that girl he listened to getting raped(luckily I missed that book!) and I don't like Pelotti or whatever his name is  from the first book who heads up the organization!;-)

I also like the gay guy - jules? I heard he gets a story so that's something I'd like to read..just wish she'd tidy stuff up 'cause I'm afraid I'll be lost if I skip to that one and miss the others. I started with the 2nd book with John and the 'older woman' and it was good but for the life of me I thought it was pretty dumb to let this woman lead him all over creation expecting her to 'trust' him when fu**ing terrorists had her mom and daughter! I mean it's pretty far-fetched to expect the average joe to be calm and rational in such circumstances (IMO)!

I have to admit that I do not like Brockmann much - I was "shot" down with the first Troubleshooters, if you'll excuse the pun, but I do have a couple of the titles that I picked up for a quarter at the library sale. Figured I'd try getting into them at some point, the rest of the books are readily available from the library system.

I tried two of her single title contemporaries and couldn't get into either of them. I think her writing style doesn't work for me.

I've read Prince Joe and a few of her Loveswepts, none of which lit my fire. She's from Mass. and I've met her at signings a few times and she's a lovely lady, very gracious and friendly; so I always feel terribly guilty when I can't like books written by someone that nice. :(

Funny how everyone's tastes differ. I read her contemporary, Kiss and tell and thought it was just okay but then I just fell in love with Over the Edge and Out of Control. Couldn't put them down!!

My very favourite (and the only one on my keeper shelf) is

It is Jules's and Robin's story.  If you haven't read about them yet, I don't want to give anything away except to say it's beautiful.

Over the Edge was my first by her and still my favorite.  I've read almost everything by her and love most of it.

For some inexplicable reason, I have trouble remembering which title is which!  I remembering really like the Hollywood story, and thinking Force of Nature was very funny.  And I loved all the Alyssa and Sam stuff, especially the subplot with Mary Lou.  My least favorite was the one with... Mike and Joan, if I have the names right.  The relationship felt too wimpy.

Mostly I like specific parts of the books, not so much the books as a whole. Like in the first one, I didn't care much for the primary heroine but loved the secondary romance between the teenagers. And I love Jones and Molly, in the books they're in.

I've only read the first one.  Didn't like the style much. However will continue with the series. Have several here ready to read.

I've enjoyed all of them and they're all on my keeper shelf.  I ordered her new book from Amazon yesterday.  Many times, though, I really enjoy the secondary characters before they get their "own book".

The ones I kept are: Over the Edge (Stan and Teri), Out of Control (Kenny and Savannah), Gone Too Far (Sam and Alyssa), and Breaking Point (Max and Gina). Out of Control is my absolute favorite in the Troubleshooters, and from her Tall, Dark and Dangerous series, my only keeper and favorite is The Admiral's Bride.

The ones I didn't like that much are: Into the Night (Mike and Joan) and Flashpoint (Nash and Tess). They were okay but I just didn't like them as much as the others.

For me she peaked with Out of Control and Over the Edge.  Her next few were OK, and then I just stopped reading them.

I've read Prince Joe and a few of her Loveswepts, none of which lit my fire - I wasn't keen on Prince Joe either but the later books - such as over the edge - gone to far, flashpoint - much better.

I have read them all - Over the Edge is my favorite, and a three  tie  is Gone to Far - Out of Control - Breaking Point.  I just picked up her latest.

I love Kenny - always a kid.

I have love the troubleshooters series books that I have read so far. Dark of Night--Gone Too Far--Breaking Point.  I enjoy the characters and variety of personalities.  I like that you get glimpses of everyone in the books.  I have gotten alot of the others just can't find the time right now to the start the rest of them.

Too many great books to read, not enough time.  I need a clone!

I enjoy them all, but the more recent ones have been only so-so for me.  Out of Control and Over the Edge are my favorites...I've gone back and re-read parts of those books because I like them so much.  I also really liked Into the Storm--plenty of humor in that one (I like Izzy's sense of humor). Of course, Gone Too Far (Sam & Alyssa's story) was a good one, too.

Least favorites...hmm...Into the Fire was so-so mostly because the hero/heroine were only secondary characters from before (heroine was new/hero was mentioned in a couple of books and only in two others).  It was also very much an "in-between" book.  I don't think you can't read it by itself without needing to read the book after and at least one book before (Hot Target and/or Flashpoint).

I'm currently listening to the latest--Hot Pursuit.  For Sam and Alyssa fans, this is one for you.  I'm not loving it, though.  I think I really like the older style of the series before Troubleshooters, Inc. was established.  This one also has the "in-between" feel to it.  Story arcs all over the place with not enough resolution (think Zanella/Gillman).

I've been on a huge Brockmann kick the last few months and have been getting my hands on the Troubleshooters books as fast as I can!  I read the first (The Unsung Hero?) a while ago.  I haven't read #2 or #3 (Kenny's story, although it seems like I need to from the sounds of it...lol).  I really love all of them, but of course some of them are better than others.  I just love the diversity of her characters and the tension/action in the stories makes me feel like I'm reading an episode of '24'.  LOL

I LOVED LOVED LOVED All Through The Night.  I wasn't sure how it would be considering it's about a gay male couple, but it was wonderful.  I just finished Over the Edge and thought it was fabulous.  Loved Cosmo & Jane, and of course Sam & Alyssa.  I loved the whole Max/Gina storyline up UNTIL their book..... for some reason I didn't think their actual "story" lived up to the buildup, kwim?

I just got Hot Pursuit from the library - will probably start it this week.

Suzanne Brockmann's son is gay - (it is on her website -forums - from her website ) and it was an inspiration for the book.  It was done tastefully, but I wasn't really into those characters so it  wasn't my favorite.

You have to read Kenny's story.  I wasn't crazy about her earlier talk dark dangerous - The Admiral's Bride was cute as was Prince Joe - but they are your basic HQ romance books.   Stan and Terri's story was excellent and I just adore Kenny...though in later books he isn't mentioned all that often.   I think it is about troubleshooter inc - Decker - Introduced in Flashpoint.   I wanted him to hook up with Sophia - but I dont' think it will be.    I think I will actually start it tonight :)

I've read all of the Troubleshooters books except for Hot Pursuit. I haven't loved all of them but there also hasn't been one that I disliked either. Usually it's a matter of not caring for a particular character or storyline. For example, I've never been a fan of Decker or the Decker/Sophia storyline. Since she has multiple storylines in these books it's easy to skim the part I don't care for and enjoy the rest.

Some of my favorites have been: Gone Too Far(Sam & Alyssa), Hot Target( I love Cosmo. He's one of my favorite Brockmann heroes), Out of Control(Kenny). I also really liked Into the Storm and All through The Night.

I recently got my best friend into this series. So far she thinks Gone Too Far is the best.

I've never understood the Kenny attraction but I know lots of women that are on that bandwagon.  He just never really appealed to me.  *shrug*

I've got a thing for Cosmo though and none of my friends understand that!  LOL

Ani & Jennifer - Cosmo is one of my favorite TS heroes, too.  I think he's sooooooooooooooooooooooo sexy.

I wasn't crazy about cosmo - though I liked him when he was referenced in the other books.  I think I like Kenny because he is kind of goofy, carefree but unsure of himself and is a romantic. I like Decker especially in Flashpoint - I thought he and Sophia woudl be good together.  Now I am interested in the new commander - Lew Khol.  (hope I spelled his name correctly) - I wonder if he will have his own story.

Add Hot Pursuit to my list of least favorites. :-(  I thought that Brockmann failed to fulfil some of the basic necessities of a romance in this one, particularly a satisfying fall-in-love-to-happy-ending arc.
