I have gone directly to someone's WL, and posted a book into the system for her.  I go thru the steps that say "you are posting this book to Jane Doe, is that what you want?"  (or similar wording), and I say yes, I want to post this WL book to Jane Doe.  She and I have talked, she's got the book on AR, yet the first time it sent it to someone else, and now this second time it is on one hour buyers remorse, which tells me again, that it's gone to someone else as the gal I'm trying to get this book to has it on AR.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa?!?!?

Any suggestions?

Ok, evidently the sun and moon aligned as the situation has been resolved.  Thank you.

For future reference Julie, the one hour buyer's remorse is exactly what should happen when you post a book to someone who has the book on auto-request. If you PM from the order, it will take it out of the 1-hr wait, but otherwise it will still have that buyer's remorse time even if you posted directly to someone's shelf. Now if the person you offered it to didn't see it during that time, or get the email, then you'd have a problem.

Auto Request gives the requestor 1 hour buyer's remorse.

just fyi!
