This book is very slow going. In fact I put it down & didn't pick it up again till several months later. As others have stated the "love at first sight" was a little over the top especially considering how the hero's character is suppose to be. However there were some exchanges that will give you a chuckle. I did enjoy how quick thinking April is against Agatha's sharp tongue.
Ending had some finer points but others were anti-climatic. Haven't decided yet if going to continue with more in this series or not.
It was a so-so book, the characters were very under developed and didn't have a much substance to them. They seemed very incomplete. The story jumped around abit, didn't have a smooth transition from one subject to the next. It was really a great story idea but this author didn't have the "umph" in the writing to pull it off. Very fustrating, I kept thinking how another author would have made this an excellent story.
This book started out alittle slow. But it ended up being a good book. This is the first book I have read by Michelle Marcos, and I enjoyed her writing.
