Does anyone know when the auto-generated email reminder goes out to Requesters who have not replied their book has been received?  I seem to remember getting one before the "Do not contact us before" date.

They get 2 of them...one after about 2 weeks and another just before the book is about to go lost.

Yep, I got one just a few days ago at the 2 week mark for one book. I should get one later this week for another book since it will be hitting it's two week mark as well. crying

If the requestor is away and not logging in, she'll also get a third email that says "Please login..." in the subject line. It warns that the book is going to be marked received for you if you don't login within the next 48 hours. (might be 24 hours, it's been a very long time since I've gotten one of these)

I have a book that I sent out not marked as received yet.  It should have been.  Will I get a notice that this book is about to be marked as lost?

I have a book that is close to going lost.  I got a reminder at 2 weeks and again at 3 weeks.  Based on this, are you saying that I won't get another reminder before the book goes lost this weekend?  (Not that it really matters in my case - I haven't received the book.  I just think it is strange to ask after two weeks and three weeks but then not ask right before the actual date.)

Jenna, I'm not sure...I don't remember ever getting more than 2 reminder e-mails, but then you do get an e-mail when the book goes lost too.

Does this mean if the requester does not log in, that i Will get credit for my Lost book?

Yes, If it has been long enough since they logged in.   The PBS computer thinks of them as inactive and marks the book received.

This can also happen when members are suspended or resign.

If it is already lost, then you won't get a credit unless the requestor goes to her Transaction Archvie and marks the book received.

If the book is still on your My Account page then it's not yet lost. Just before the system action date shown on the transaction, the server will do some calculations and make a decision about whether to mark the book received or lost. If the requestor's account appears to be abandoned at that time, then the book will be marked received. You have no way of knowing which decision will be made, which is why it says "Please don't contact us before this date".

I ordered a book from a new member on 5-7-10.  I got a question/reminder on 5-27-10.  I haven't gotten it.  I expect I'll get another this week.  It goes lost on 6-10-10.  I have a fear that it won't show up.  So many times when I'm the only one wishing the book times out or goes lost.  I frequently wonder why this is.
