  My body is tired
My soul uncertain
My mind is uninspired
What waits beyond the curtain?

I want to be brave
To feel complete
No longer a slave
Is that too great a feat?

My eyes are leery
My hands shaking
My fingers are weary
Is this inspiration in the making?

I am running out of time
And have much to say
With a mountain to climb
Will someone show me the way?

The moment is coming
Darkness is near
I am succumbing
Tonight, I swallow my fear.

wow. I like this, the images are clean, but still convey a deep troubled feeling. you've inspired me, if not yourself!
