Another excellent story in this series. Learned about horse breeding, interesting facts. Love the characters, always something going on with this bunch. The animals are wonderful, Brown is a very skillful writer, thanks to Sneaky Pie.
In the small Virginia town of Crozet many of the residents have lived there their entire lives. Two murders seem to tie in with the disappearance in 1974 of Mary Pat Reines. Do these recents deaths also tie in with Mary Pat's horse breeding program? Of course, Harry and her animals, Mrs. Murphy, Pewter and Tucker play a part in solving these crimes. Good, easy going story.
I love all the Mrs. Murphy mysteries--this one was no exception!
This one kept putting me to sleep because I had already read the next one. The next one is much better but I don't recommend skipping around.
Another Mrs Murphy mystery set in horse country of Virginia. The usual cast of characters, a mysterious death, a concern over rabies, and a solution to an old mystery make this a quick read.
Another excellent Mrs. Murphy, the cat, mystery.
Love her books great entertainment
More "Harry" Haristeen and Mrs. Murphy the cat crime solving. A dead body infected with rabies is discovered near Harry's house which is linked with a murder/disappearance 30 years earlier.
Another great Mrs. Murphy Series. I love them all!! This is later one which involves cases of human rabies. Intersting facts on the disease.
This book starts out with Harry finding a man along a creek that has had his throat torn out. At first they think it's an animal but then they find out it's murder When Harry solves this one, she finds herself in danger.
This is a great book as usual from Rita Mae Brown. I thoroughly enjoy Sneaky Pie Brown stories, and Ms. Brown didn't let me down with this book!
love Mrs. Murphy and T. Tucker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
murphy and T. TR%ucker
Just the right amount of fluff to get you over whatever bad thing you don't want to think about.
Not as good as some of the previous Sneaky Pie stories but I learned a lot about rabies.
I like Rita's pet books. This one was a fast read and enjoyable, as usual.
There has been a missing person (mentioned in other books) for quite some time. This book solves her disappearance (and murder) and also some new murders, which turn out to be related. Once again all the animals come together to help!
Very typical story with usual twist at the finish.
