Dean Koontz might as well have invented the term "thriller." Your heart starts racing as soon as you see his name on a title and Whispers is no exception.

Scary,best book Koontz ever wrote.Some parts actually made me feel like it was me going through what the characters were.Read this!

I just wasn't able to get into this one. Koontz seems to be a competent and inventive writer; perhaps he just needs a better editor to help him energize the rather wooden characters, and to eliminate the needless verbiage that repeatedly distracts from the point of the story. As it was, the plot was more tedious than terrifying.

Koontz is one of the best horror writers. keeps you on the edge of your seat. thsi book was great
