I bought this book because of how much I was touched by the movie on Netflix, "Sophies Choice"..In a nutshell, this is the amazing story of a young girl, 23, who, just for throwing out phamplets speaking the TRUTH about Hitler, was executed, by decapitation!! Along with her brother, and a few other resisters of Nazism. The book takes you right up til her last moment of life, even as she stands before the notorious bloodthirsty Nazi judge, Roland Freisler, and speaks with such eloquence and composure in the face of death, that many in the courtroom were stunned. This is a very enlightening, graphic story, of 3 very younf people and others a bit older, who, most likealy are in heaven as we speak, for they had Faith in God..
