A book valuable if only for its authorship and history. Written/illustrated by the writer and illustrator of the "Curious George" books, this is a silly adventure of a curious penguin that has no relationship to any animal in real life. Warning: Adult suspension of disbelief highly unlikely. Just try to keep it in the same vein as Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy when reading it to children with a straight face. This is a universe where a(n arctic) polar bear can get friendly with (antarctic) its natural prey, seals and penguins; where seals can produce seal skin without dying; and where penguins operate radio stations and travel the sea in boats.
