One of my favorite books of all time. I've read it at least a dowzen times, probably more. The entire Kensington Chronicles series is exceptional.
Tanner Richardson, the volatile duke of Cambridge, sees his wife with another man. Misinterpreting the situation, he erupts into rage and throws her and their unborn baby out. Tanner's anger smoldersâuntil the night he is shot....
Absolutely stunning third book in the Kensington Chronicles. Lori Wick truly outdoes herself with the story of Anastsia "Stacy" Daniels and Lord Tanner Richardson. It's a classic love story with shining examples of love and patience.
This is the third installment of The Kensington Chronicals. I love the way Lori Wick can make each story ina series both unique on their own merrit and still tie the characters together from book to book. A great read.
The third in the series. Over all I liked this book. I guess it is kind of hard for me to get into the Victorian Era. I find the whole prim and proper thing a little out there. Maybe that is why. Of course following the second book it is hard to compare the two.
If you have read any books by Lori Wick you expect a great read. If you have never read her books I encourage you to give them a try. They are great stories and fun to read again and again. I really liked this one about Stacy and Tanner. They have a few bumps along the road to a happy marriage. Stacy finds a source of strength to see her through the hardest times of her life. Tanner finally realizes that in Stacy he has married a virtuous woman.
